Seeing as how Britannia occupies North and South America, do you think that Britannians living in the area can speak French, Portugeuse, Spanish, etc.? (theoretically)

And also, if Britannia occupies the Americas, do you think they have Hawaii too? Because Hawaii rocks.

nope. i thought they could only speak french/portuguese/spanish because they were colonies of the european countries? so if that never happened (i doubt britannia would let the other european countries take over the world with them), then the language would have never passed on.

i'm wondering if the indians in the chinese federation speak chinese or indian, really XD

do we know when South America was taken over by Britannia? I just can't seem to remember. Could it be that parts of it belonged to the EU and then got taken over by Britannia? That way they would have had the chance to learn those languages, or at least some of them, before Britannia came in.

*sigh* but this is Geass. "world history? noooo"

maybe the indians are like the Japanese in that respect? They know (mostly) Chinese because they belong (technically) to the Chinese Federation but speak Indian (read: native language) amongst each other?

Like Chinese, there are many different dialects and such for Indian. It will be hard to force everyone to learn Chinese, when there are not enough teachers and widespread poverty. Those lower classes will probably use native language for most things. The noble upper classes would have learn some form of Chinese though
