Do you think it's possible that she's joined Nunnaly's quest for worldwide peace on changing the empire from the inside? As you may have noticed, she appears alongside all those Brittanian folks in the new opening(which is mighty hot, I must add). I think it'd make sense. After all, we last saw Kallen when Nunnaly finally opened her cell gate.

Oh, and another thing I might question. Rollo most likely killed Shirley, but will Lelouch think that Suzaku killed her? You know how he goes analytical and would possibly assume it was Euphie's revenge...

Personally. I'm hoping for Geass Brainwashing to turn her into a vicious Britannia supporter, instead of hating Britannians, she hates the Elevens.

Who knows what will happen. I can see things getting awesomely shit-tastic for Lelouch and taking a dive right about now, just like last season. I think things are going to get pretty damn intense, and a full blown Kallen betrayal would be tragically AWESOME.
But this whole Suzaku thing, uhg... I think it's going to get really messy.

Well, Shirley to Lelouch is like Euphemia to Suzaku. I imagine somewhere in Lelouch's little messed-up head, he'll think it was Suzaku. D| Oh jeeeeeez

1. I seriously doubt Kallen would just suddenly join the Britannia side since she's incredibly loyal to Zero and her own dream. I think the only way it would work for Kallen to be fighting alongside the Knights is if she was Geass'ed brainwashed by Charles like someone above me mentioned.

2. No I definitely don't think Lulu could or would suspect Suzaku. He knows Sukaku is above such a petty, heinous act. Remember how Lulu knew Suzaku wouldn't let all of those million Zeros get massacred? Besides, Shirley was Suzaku's friend too. o___o;;

Suzaku has no reason to kill Shirley. Lelouch is analytical but he isn't stupid.

Suzaku, however, is another story. I can totally see him saying "Zero, it's all your fault!" or "Zero, you must be the one who did it!" in his I'm-so-very-rightous face.

Kallen seems way too loyal to do that and from Euphie's/Shinjinku/ incident she doesn't trust brittannia (or Suzaku), she's just waiting for Zero to save her. But I don't think she wants to hurt Nunnaly which might be why she isn't doing anything right now.

I definitely don't think Lelouch will suspect Suzaku. Suzaku just saved Shirley's life in this episode. And even if it was for some sort of revenge, Suzaku wouldn't take it out on Shirley, and Lelouch knows that.

The only way Suzaku would've killed Shirley was if he saw her gun pointed at him and his LIVE Geass activated and he shot her in defence. But I don't think Lelouch would even think of that scenario.

Even though Lelouch and Suzaku are pretty much bitter enemies now, they still know each other very well, and Lelouch trusts Suzaku.

But he might be somewhat pissed at Suzaku. "Leaving Shirley with Suzaku is probably the safest thing right now" is what he thought, and he left Shirley in Suzaku's care. Suzaku's failure to protect Shirley will shake Lelouch's trust in him to protect Nunnally.

On the Kallen note, I can't see her betraying Lelouch in anyway. I can see her being loyal to Nunnally for saving her (plus the fact that Nunnally is Lelouch's sister, Kallen serving Nunnally is kind of still serving Lelouch) so I think she might be on the same side as Nunnally, but only because Lelouch is on the same side as Nunnally.

I don't see the emperor rewriting her memory- although it would be interesting, I don't think he deals with such small-scale things like that.

Interesting idea about Kallen, but I would think that if she did, there would have to be some Geassing involved. Kallen's much too loyal to change her ways now, she's had her chance multiple times. Although, she does look rather upset/uncomfortable in the opening, so perhaps so. That'd be interesting, but also so sad. D:

I'm not sure about Lelouch blaming Suzaku; it could happen, but I'm not sure Lelouch thinks that little of Suzaku. He hates him, but he knows such a thing would go blatantly against Suzaku's principles.

I think Kallen knows that Lelouch lives for Nunnally. With Nunnally coming to her in ... either 11 or 12, I'm not completely clear, I think she would understand that she needs to protect her until Lelouch gets there. Lelouch promised that he would come and get her, and being close to Nunnally and ensuring that she's okay is one way to do it.

I admittedly thought that Geass wouldn't take this plot route because it's so damn awesome, but now I think otherwise!

Lelouche may be upset with Suzaku for leaven Shirley alone and he may question Suzaku ability to protect the people he care.

Kallen I agree with person who post how she would help Nunnally in spite that fact she helping Brittinia. If what Nunnally request of Kallen does not go against Zero or anything that would be relative to Zero or Lelouche. Kallen may be open to it.

Kallen being brainwashed by Charlie was brought up back when she was initially captured, but I think the scene with Nunnaly last week blows that speculation away. She's in the OP with the Britannians at first but in her Black Knights uniform, remember, and then in the 'whole cast flies at you' shot she's in her pilot suit with the Knights. More than likely she'll be fighting in the Guren on Nunnaly's side for a bit (thinking that Lelouch would be okay with her fighting to protect his sister) but then go back to the Knights.

I HIGHLY doubt that Kallen would betray him. I think that she's shown with the Britannians at the beginning, because she's still their captive. If she had switched sides, they would give her a new outfit. But if you notice, she still is wearing the black knights' outfit and her knightmare uniform.

I also don't think she'd be brainwashed simply because she's not really that important enough for Charles to geass her. What would be the point in that?

I think that she would help Nunally, but I don't think she will the same way as everyone else thinks. Nunally is a peaceful person, so she would have no need of a fighter for a non existant battle. Kallen is a fighter, she would never sit on the sidelines and try to change things they was Nunally and Suzaku are trying. I think she's the type to change the world by force. So, if she were to help Nunally in any way is to continue what she was doing since the beginning of the series and fight alongside Zero.

And Rollo totally killed Shirley, there's no doubt about that. I don't think Lelouch would think Suzaku did it though. He knows Suzaku cares about his friends just as much as Lelouch does.

kallen hates the britanians with a passion i doubt that she would join them. brainwashing? or maybe a plan of her own....? (maybe destroying britanians from the inside ^_^)

and about shirly's death well i do agree that lelouch would think it was suzaku, after all she was with him. i do remember lelouch saying in his mind in ep 13 "she'll be safe with suzaku". but ya i donno theres alot of posibilities. i just hate to think rolo might have killed her!!! (i love him too much)

For Kallen, I have no idea what's going to happen with her. I don't think Nunnally would allow anything too bad to happen, and I don't think Charles cares enough to Geass her, though it's possible, if he DOES believe she holds a threat. But of course, Kallen would resist.

Even if Lelouch is smart and usually logical, the death of a loved one seems to cause him to go a little nuts. He's lost so much - I'll bet he takes it very dramatically.

I don't think he'll suspect Suzaku, but I wouldn't doubt if he thinks it's Rolo but won't say anything. And of course, Suzaku would think it's Lelouch, knowing him.

I just hope Rolo begs for mercy and gets his ass kicked a little by Lulu. I like Rolo and all, but I don't plan on forgiving him anytime soon...

Why is Kallen even still alive? I'd've thought they would have executed her post-haste. (Then again, why were Toudou, Ougi, and the others still alive after all that time?)
