Question about Turn 13

I've been wondering about this ever since I first watched Turn 13, and I didn't see it come up in any of the discussions. If it was mentioned/answered, sorry for repeating myself, and it would be great if someone can direct me to where it was mentioned before. Thanks :3

Jeremiah referred to Lelouch as "Your Majesty" in Turn 13, at around 19:40 in the Eclipse sub. That hasn't happened to any of the Princes or Princesses from what I remember, not in S1 nor R2. Does anyone else remember anything or is this really the first time? I'd like to think that that's foreshadowing, but then again, Jeremiah's "duty" (if he's sincere) is now to help Lelouch, so it might have just been a show of respect...

Hmm...according to my brain of infinite knowledge (and wikipedia) "Your Majesty" is a title that usually only refers to a king or queen; princes or princesses would be referred to "Your Highness".

"Your Majesty" was not a phrase used until Henry VIII, because, well...he was frikken Henry VIII. Before that "Your Highness" and "Your Grace" were used for kings and queens.

Wikitard aside, no, I don't think it was used to talk to any of the Princes or Princesses before. I think it was slight forshadowing, and because Jeremiah wants Lelouch to avenge his mum, kill his dad, and become the new Emperor of Britannia or something...Or it could have just been fangirl bait.

He used "denka" ("Your Highness") when talking to Lelouch before, and that was what he would have normally used if he was just referring to Lelouch, the Prince.

So..my opinon? Fangirl baiting.

Well, I don't really believe it was fangirl bait. Even though that was the hottest line I have ever heard come out of Jeremiah's mouth *melts*

I'm pretty sure it was a show of respect. Since Jeremiah held Marianne in such high regard, I don't find it surprising he would see Lulu in the same way as his mother.

I would also say it was foreshadowing except my gut feeling keeps screaming Lulu won't make it in the end. I hate to say it to, but the thought keeps coming no matter how hard I try to smash it.

I will agree. It wasn't ridiculously hot for no reason. Sunrise had some awesome, awesomeness planned. Thats what the line is foreshadowing.

He definitely addresses Lelouch that way... *only watches raw so yep* so I think he's banking all his hopes on Lelouch taking over Britannia. If Charles went and ordered his own wife (of many other wives) to be assassinated, then I have little doubt that Jeremiah would prefer Lelouch over the emperor.

Oh yeah, and he only said that once. :O

Personally I thought that Jeremiah said it to show that he is loyal to Lelouch, not Charles. First he just refers to Lelouch as Lelouch... after hearing that everything was for Marianne, he uses "-sama" and stuff referring to him as a prince... 10 seconds after calling Lelouch "denka" (still referring to him as a prince... would probably have used heika instead if he thought of him as an emperor) comes his "Yes, my majesty" line >.> I guess that one line Lelouch said had quite a bit of impact on him

But obviously, it was just cause Lelouch is his Queen xD

I thought Jeremiah was replying to Charles when he said "Yes, my majesty" =[ ( his right eye moved in some weird way like he was connecting
sth)...
I don't trust him,my mind keeps reminding me that he just blew the tears to get Lulu's sympathy.
