Hey guys. Let's talk about cults.

So, I am kind of a dumbass and completely baffled by this Geass cult thing. What...exactly does it do? So far as I could tell it is more or less a place where they obtain kids and raise them with Geasses... But, where do they get the kids? And, where do they get the Geasses?

See, after the events of the last two episodes, I was under the impression that to get a Geass someone had to give it to you, and that person only had one to give. (ie: CC's nun could give her a Geass, but would have to wait until CC died to give out a second...) Am I completely wrong here? Because I am wondering, when they were killing up the Geass cult people, all we saw were scientists and children--no one who was giving out Geass.

So: do 'initials' actually have the power to give Geasses to as many people as they want (implying all those kids got their Geass from VV)? or were the kids engineered in some way so that they were born with Geass? or are letters D through U hanging around somewhere waiting for their kids to die or kill them (implying that Lelouch's plan was not half as successful as he thought)?

I realize I am probably going to be jossed on this tonight when the next ep comes out but for now, any clarification you can give me is appreciated by this (sadly unobservant!) viewer.

Also, to clear things up. Before, I used to think, an "Initial" could only die if killed by the person they gave a Geass to. Or, that a Geass user could only gain immortality through the person they got Geass from.

But by CC's nun explanation. It's really just by a Geass user's level. They just have to be at a certain level (what I assume, both eyes) before they can take anyones' Initial immortality(I think it has to be freely given though).

So, say, Lelouch could still gain immortality if he so wishes, if not by CC, then by another Initial. And CC, could die, as she wished, by Charles. (I believe she wished to spare Lelouch the agony of forever, that, and his Geass isn't mastered yet.) Charles had that power, because one— Oh wait, mm.. Charles was already immortal .. so .. I guess an Initial could take another Initial's life then. Well. That's not so complicated.

Though, this is CG we're talking about. I'm sure it's much more complicated than that.

If V.v. dying made charles immortal, then I'm guessing C.c. dying would have given Charles twice the problem when he wanted to die, as he would need to pass it on to more than one person, although he might see that as an advantage...

I don't think V.V dying was the thing that had Charles immortal. During the episode, C.C had asked why Charles took V.V's code(his immortality in exchange for his Geass).

C.C, in her case, was also willingly going to give her immortality(code) to Charles (even though he already had V.V's(maybe he was going to have two signias somewhere on his person beside his the one on his palm?)). I don't exactly know what that would do to Charles though, but I highly doubt it would give him a problem if he ever chose to pass his code on (please, as if Charles would want to stop being immortal? If anything, it would be Lelouch who also would have to be immortal to kill his father).

Im sorry, I probably wrote that really confusing.

But yeah, I don't think it's "passing it on to more than one person" because I think it sort of just adds up, and just gives up some sort of advantage (maybe faster regenerative abilities) rather than having "two codes to pass on to be mortal".

Also, I'm not really clear whether or not when one's code is taken, if they die .. Maybe they just turn mortal (as it is a speculation in C.C's current position), or they die from current wounds (V.V's code was taken, and he was bleeding, and no more healing for him~). Or if one so wished, I suppose you could do both as Charles was probably going to do to C.C (take her immortality, and kill her at the same time).

Anyway, YEAH!

GAWDS. Episode 17 is coming out like, TONIGHT! (or tomorrow, or maybe even Monday) Depends who your source is ;)

I believe he needed a code to use the sword of akasha as much as he did on lelouch (mask and gear room). So my guess is with two codes he can use it to a higher potential, i imagine to cause every twilight gate in the world to mind rape everyone in the world. (wheee Bartley's Theory!)

Man, speaking of mind rapes, I can't wait until Anya finds out Charles violated her. I'm just waiting for her to go Berserk mode and do some bloodshed LOL.

But yeah, that higher potential is a definite maybe there. I never really considered more codes= more power. I was really just watching CC and Lelouch angst. Ahahaha <3

Yeah, so we've established that with a "code/immortality" you can give Geass (as it is shown with CC giving Mao AND Lelouch at the same time, without having a restriction (eg., one at a time)).

It is shown that CC does not have her Geass anymore, and implied that once you go immortal, you exchange that for your Geass. Charles making an army of Geass users is quite possible, I believe. But .. really, I don't think (or atleast it's now shown) that the Coder can choose the powers. If that's true, that's a real heavy burden. Charles would have to be careful in case someone goes against him (eg., with great power comes great responsibility, CHEESY I KNOW) even if the Geass can't be used against him (since he's the one who granted them the power). But, I think .. I THINK you can use Geass on the other coders (as it's shown Lelouch telling Charles to shoot himself .. but, that's a MAYBE, because I'm doubting whether or not Charles did it on purpose just to spite Lelouch, and I dont know if the Geass had any real effect on Charles).

CC's Nun was .. well, a crazy chick. She wanted to die. Simple as that. From living for ever, I highly doubt she would want to wait a few more centuries to die of old age. I still don't know how/why CC got scarred getting the co—OH SNAP. YOU KNOW WHAT?! That scar on CC's breast is probably her code! Like .. how it's on Charles' hand! WOW. REVELATION, MUCH. I don't think it's like self defense (in the nun trying to get CC to kill her), but maybe it's the Nun transferring the code unto her (the scar) then trying to kill herself, CC MAYBE trying to stop her, getting blood on her in the process, then sitting back and feeling all angsty that she was alone, and that this secret was kept from her and that it happened all sudden-like.

I don't know why CC lost her code .. could be yes, because she realized that she was truly loved by someone, or she half-transferred whatever she had to Charles, or, the blowing up of the place screwed her over. We do know, that one, she does not have her code on her forehead, and two, she's not healing as rapidly as she did before.

I don't recall VV actually dying, yeah, verge of death, but who knows, he might have been captured by the Black Knights. If you were referring to his "death" by getting his code removed, then nah, his memories wouldn't be wiped, just his immortality. OH. So that's what you meant. You were trying to connect it with CC's situation. Mm.. Yeah .. VV didn't seem to be mind-wiped. I think it was a combination of CC's half-transfer to Charles, and the blowing up of the place.

ANYWAY.

EPISODE 17, YAYAYYYYYY, I CANT WAIT.

LJ needs a damn online chat thingy .. >:

Wow, typos;
(atleast it's NOT shown)*

Hmmm.. Well .. Charles didn't have a code on his forehead (it was on his hand). So CC's code was probably the one on his forehead........... But it was shown in the flashbacks all these kids with the signia on their forehead. And she didn't have that scar before she got the code, and you can't get scarred after you have immortality (so BIG CHANCE she got it from the nun).

And her wish, was to die. Her original wish was to be loved, I don't know if it changes, but she said it herself, her wish was to die. Maybe, the revelation of Lelouch's devotion adds to her memory wipe.
