Suspicious about whether Shirley got to know (his) secret, Lelouch follows her back. Although (he) asks CC to reveal what happened (about the aftermath of the ep 13. battle), she doesn't have the answer. Around this time, Shirley encounters enigmatic Mao in Narita. Mao is a man capable of reading thoughts with the power of his Geass. Shirley chooses death in order to compensate for a certain crime; Mao actually is pulling the strings. C.C confronts the man she once gave the power of Geass to, and Lelouch decides on separation with Shirley, who knows the truth.
(Go Mao! XD *runs away for own safety*)

Aw, cheer up, emo Lulu! XDD

If Sunrise is REALLY stupid they'll make Suzaku a Kira-clone. At this moment he's not, but if certain events with his character take place then I probably will believe they are doing it deliberately. I hope not though, as much as I like Kira that would be terribly unoriginal. If I want Gundam Seed I'll go watch Gundam Seed. This is a really different series. Thing is they are a business and they know how damn popular Kira is...for all we know they might think it's a great idea to make a kira-clone. -_- And considering Lacus' popularity they might make Euphie a Lacus-clone. Really hope it doesn't come to this or else it'll ruin the series.

I think the thing about the killing of civilians is interesting; you see, people make a bigger deal of Clovis having civilians killed than they do of Lelouch killing his own troops. However, the one observation I have made about it, with regard to their personalities, is that Clovis never repented the sacrifice of innocent citizens in war (what I believe the authorities now call collateral damage...) because he was never presented with the personal consequences of his actions to the victims. He was a silly vain Prince utterly unsuited to a command post, who lived his life isolated from the realities of the decisions he made.
If Clovis *had* been exposed to the distress of his victims, who can say what would have happened. That will never be known. However, Lelouch has seen the impact of his actions with his own eyes, indeed on his own friends, and we know for sure what he decided; he decided to go on killing for his private war anyway despite knowing personally what it did to the victims.
This is not to say that I don't have respect of a sort for that decision however; it is very much in the mode of pure Machiavellian Princing, and I am sure Schneizel and the Emperor would approve! XD

Hmmmm...true about Clovis. He might have been just a really sheltered and pampered prince who didn't realize the consquences of his actions. But what about Cornelia? She copied the Shinjuku incident knowing full well what the consequences would be just so she could lure out Zero. She's certainly not a sheltered princess. Of course, this doesn't change the fact that Lulu's done some pretty messed up things himself and will probably only get worse until he has an utter breakdown and makes a real change or keeps falling into total moral decay until he is killed.

(Cornelia has a greater sense of personal honour than Lelouch though; she would rather die as a Brittanian Princess than personally surrender on the field of battle, sentiments Lelouch simply dismissed as stupid. Yet it was he himself who said that if the King doesn't move, the troops won't follow; Cornelia can be rightly accused of many things - cowardice and stupidity are not amongst them though ;)
