Nunnally, Post-Turn 18

Where is Nunnally after Turn 18? It looked like death for her at the end of Turn 18, but of course with Sunrise being Sunrise, an important character wouldn't be dead until they showed you a long, drawn-out death speech scene or a body at least.

The official site updated the character relationship chart today and it does show indeed that Nunnally is NOT definitely 100% dead. She is labeled "whereabouts unknown", along with Romeyer, Sayoko, Asahina, and Guilford (aw, shoot, I thought he died for sure).

...Now where can she be? At least it appears that the blind cripple girl lives for now.

Well yeah, I genuinely was upset when I saw all them characters die (Guilford included), but if you look at the law of the conservation of matter, it states that it cannot be created or destroyed.

I guess this confirms that you don't die in Geass unless, shot, stabble or blown up in your mech. Nukes don't count.

Guess we really can't make any conclusions yet, huh? Besides, it's very possible that Nina's weapon was not as epic as they'd hoped. It would be too much too soon if it was. I mean, how many episodes do we still have left?

Though the 'FLEIA DOESN'T KILL PEOPLE IT JUST SENDS THEM TO JUPITER/WORLD OF C/CLOVIS PARTY ISLAND' idea is interesting. This is Sunrise, you know they're capable of it. It would actually be pretty fucking epic in its ridiculousness.

More than likely it's just the people on Nunnaly's transport who lived and Asahina and Guilford are listed as unknown to not make it obvious, yeah.

Obviously Nunnaly is probably still alive, they make it ambiguous as to whether or not they were caught in the bomb due to not having taken off yet or not, etc etc. That they list Asahina and Guilford as unknown as well is puzzling, though. Perhaps FLEIA is an AoE Jupiter teleport and nobody knows it except maybe Schniezel and/or Charlie.

As much as I want Guilford to be alive and reunite with the real Cornelia, I feel that he and Asahina are done for. Nunnally, on the other hand, might be alive somewhere with Sayoko. It's just weird that she, of all people, doesn't have any length death scene if she's really dead.

Regardless of Britannia's fascism, watching the Glaston Knights die and Guilford manipulated feels really cruel of Lelouch, though. He made Darlton betray Cornelia too in Season 1. Bending their will... it's the thing that Kallen didn't want Lelouch to do to her, would she say the same if she had known Lelouch did it to Britannian people?
