Animage, for their February issue, had a popularity contest for anime charaters from many many many many anime, not divided by gender and stuff.
Lulu made # 1, there's Kallen and C.C. at # 10 & 16, and even Suzaku at #29!! WOO HOO!!! CODE GEASS IS KING!!! ^_^

Sorry, I know I should be spazzing over the Geass characters since this is the community and all, but I kinda knew they'd be high on there since they're just that awesome, so I'm gonna spaz about the other ones.
