- The Official Site has released its summary of Episode 15, Kassai no Mao. Translation :



Episode 15 : Mao of the Applause

C.C. states that she will break off her contract with Lelouch and go back to Mao. Not listening to his objections, she left [Lelouch's] side. C.C. knows that Mao's objective is her, and decides to meet him again to take responsibility. At the appointed amusement park, she points a gun at him, but cannot pull the trigger. At the same time, in order to save C.C., Lelouch ponders how to fight an opponent who can read his every thought.



- In unrelated news that probably won't affect any of us here but is interesting to know anyway, Biglobe has put up Code Geass blog design templates for its users. There is the 'general series poster' we're used to seeing, one of Lelouch, one of the Lancelot, and one of...*drums roll*...Orange! The last one strikes me as awesome news, for some reason.

Yup, he is just First Prince. :( He needs a name!

Lelouch totally has a mother complex. You know...I've wondered if Schneizel and Cornelia *did* have anything to do with his Mother's death (unless the hit went wrong and got the wrong target) - what would they have to gain? She was a consort, not in the race for the succession. Sure she was a commoner, but what would that be to them except a matter for snidey gossip? ...Clovis only said they would *know* something about it after all. He didn't say they did it. God, that would be ironic after all this! XD

The only Brother complex character I've liked was Silvia in Sousei No Aquairion - partly this was because she wasn't your big eyes small mouth 'traditional' heroine, and partly because she was just so blantantly obsessed with her niisama and openly jealous of his crush on someone else! XD And it was funny!

I actually didn't think Cornelia had anything to do with it, the moment we saw her. She's way too honorable and family-loving for that kind of thing. Judgement on Schneizel is reserved until we finally meet him, and they'd better hurry it up. >:[ I think it's said that Clovis really honestly liked kid!Lulu, too, oh the irony. XD A nice twist, IMO, would be that Marianne was not the perfect woman Lulu thinks she was, after all, and actually deserved the drastic measures she got. Sure she looked nice and kind, but so does Lulu!

Ohohoho. I should pick up Sousei no Aquarion, if only to see her. (Well-done sibling complexes is a personal moe of mine. Emphasis on well-done) XD The problem with traditional oniichan girls, imo, is the incessant ONIICHAAAAN NIISAMAAA ANIIIII and how they have the whole 'my oniichan is perfect and can do no wrong' thing, it's totally wish fulfillment and they're completely vapid of personality otherwise wtf. XD

Little Clovis was an awesome artist too, as he must have been quite young when he painted that portrait. :) Yes, I am sure Marianne was not all sweetness; she was married to the Emperor after all (and judging by his reaction to her death, she wasn't one of those sweet and cute 'my love is redeeming you' types either!) I think Lulu gets most of his charming personality from Daddy though. XD

Silvia is great. She's definitely not the typical niichan sister. :)

He probably saw Lulu last when he was 16-17, and that seemed like it was painted before. It's hard to judge paintings in what is, after all, a drawing, but it seems like he's nicely talented. :D I sort of figure Marianne is a political marriage...she's possible French (hence the names), where there's no longer any nobility. And if she is, I'm sort of hoping she's actually a failed tigress instead of a poor victimized sheep. More interesting. :D Lulu, of course, totally takes after his father. Right down to the signature 'looks down from above' act. Not that he would admit it at this age.

Well, in those little chart things published in that Zenryokyu fan book, Clovis gets a 10 for art. :D (It's his highest ranked ability - he gets a 4 for brains...:( Poor Clovis! XD)

I have yet to get the Zenryoku fanbook. :/ My work has been hectic lately, there's hardly ever a free weekend for bookshopping.

In a perfect happy AU, Clovis would be a famous artist. Canon is such a not happy place to be.
