I'm a little taken aback by the reactions to the kiss. I kind of wailed a little when I saw the posted pic but mostly because I went "Oh crap she's gonna die now, isn't she!" Shhhhh. Granted I have no clue what was going on in the ep half the time but I thought that moment was more bittersweet than anything. It came across to me as Kallen achieving some closure re: her feelings towards Zero/Lelouch (either uh what other commenters have said about moving on or my personal theory, her coming to terms with her feelings and not needing or perhaps even desiring for them to be reciprocated and that her goals and loyalties ARE larger than her feelings if that makes any sense) and Lelouch letting her go because he considers that the best thing he could do for her. They music, the way they both said goodbye...

F-for all seriousness, though. I totally feel your pain there. Maybe I'm on the other side of the fence in thinking that he actually IS getting better. I started to actually enjoy this stuff again after the last episode. The rest, sans the odd week here and there, I'd be decidedly "Meh" about.

Woooow, finished watching and.... woow. Overpowered much Suzaku? You and your rather uglyish outfit - its so tempting to make it and shove someone in it though. Lelouch's was rather pretty though I kept staring at the hat and those shoulder pad things.

But the rest of it. Bismark ... has a Sharingan for a Geass? Really? And they're beaten in like 5 minutes? Three of them? Granted the geass on Suzaku kind of heightens his godmod but that was almost too crazy, especially against the Knight of One. Nunnally wasn't too surprising, it was almost expected since we never saw the body and she was with ninja!Sayoko. Though, before seeing the preview I had half expected Nunnally to be really Anya with a wig since she is seen with the rest of Schneizel's company and then not anymore when they pulled the surprised on Lulu.

This episode made me love Rivalz more though, poor thing.. so tossed around. He needs his love! I hope he pulls a Nevil and saves the day somehow in the end ;o; And this episode also seemed to try to make us like Nina again, but.. its hard to since she was always such a crazycrazy bitch.

I'm also not getting the Kallen hate, I rather like her and these few episodes have been rather hard on her. [thinking she was being used all this time, not knowing it was a lie to protect her.. then thinking him dead and now him like... turning his back on everything?] Is it because she - and two other women - have managed to accomplish one thing that Suzaku hasn't, that the rabid yaoi fangirls crave - kissing Lelouch? xD

That's the view I'm taking pretty much as well. I'm looking forward to sitting down and watching it all again in one sweep like I'm doing with season one at the moment. It's just... gah. I want to still have faith that it's actually awesome as a whole.
