This was just something I thought about...

CC was indeed talking to Lelouch in the final scene of the episode, which made me wonder... I mean, she could just be thinking out loud, but what if CC, at that time, was no longer immortal? Since Lelouch's geass had already reached its full capacity (it consuming both his eyes, a requirement for CC to pass on her immortality to him), CC could have transfered her immortality to Lelouch within the span of two months, therefore making him immortal at the time Suzaku killed him...

Is this plausible?

And up until now I'm still wondering how Suzaku made it out alive from the explosion of his Knightmare. If that can happen, I am pretty sure something like this might be possible. XD

Thoughts?

again....

no point. LL wanted this end himself. Why was CC crying in church then?

At first, I thought it was Gino driving the thing CC was on. *fail* Though, some people say that it was Lelouch. I hope it is. Or maybe CC was just thinking out loud. :< I mean, when it comes to Sunrise, almost anything is possible. .__.

Er, Suzaku has these superhuman power things so, I wouldn`t be surprised he lived. xP

RURUSHUUUUUUUUUU ;____;

I just.. really wouldn't have changed the ending. NOT MANY THINGS MAKE ME CRY, SO..

I mean, of course we all love the idea of season 3 simply because we love wasting our time on code geass ♥, but..
that was an amazing end. D:

-the only think I felt needed to happen was for lelouch to watch c.c. die as she smiles. :/

well, of course she would cry if she had to spend an eternity with that sociopath of Lelouch XD (if he took charles' code)

SRSLY, try not to think about it too hard.

And we never get to know C.C. real name...>.>
Date/Time: 2008-09-29 09:27 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] strike-x-slash.livejournal.com
Maybe C.C. gave him her code and was crying because she knew it was time for her to really start living. Now that she's not immortal anymore, doing daredevil stunts has more meaning, and she's praying for her adventures to last as long as possible.

I hope Lulu's hiding in Suzy's bedroom.

You are not the only one who had that theory. I'm surprised that so many people had thought of that xD

I wish it was true xD

I don't think C.C. would give him a code though. To her, immortality's a cruse ^^; That's why she didn't want him to suffer the same pain. Turn 15 explains it. Hehe.

Whatever the cause, I wish Lelouch is alive. But he seems so dead ;_; But I love fan optimism seeing him as alive. It cheers me up xD
Date/Time: 2008-09-29 10:26 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] hobbit-hunter.livejournal.com
I figured it was her hoping that things would go the way Lelouch planned them.

But personally I'm between both camps and can see either theory going around.

HEY! XD
I think about it too! :D
You have the same theory as I have. xD
I agree with you, that could be something...

i wondering about that too~
well maybe the man who ride the cart was Lulu~
just theory hahahaha

he is Suzaku (meaning phoenix = he live forever and never dies) *it's just what's on my mind... *
Date/Time: 2008-09-29 12:36 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] voldy06.livejournal.com
The problem I have with Lelouch being alive is basically that he is the kind of person who feels fully responsible for his sins. Therefore I really don't see him wandering the countryside with C.C. while Suzaku acts as Zero in order to atone for his sins.

Date/Time: 2008-09-29 13:15 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] shad-fg.livejournal.com
I thought of that too.
I've heard that when-one-gives-up-her-code-she-doesnt-need-to-die theory after that episode with Charles. So it's entirely possible for C.C to transfer her code to R.R :')
Date/Time: 2008-09-29 13:31 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] rebmastu.livejournal.com
My thought is that it was regret for actually passing on her code. After all, her fondest wish was to die, right? So she knows the pain that immortality brings, and felt guilty for having to curse another with that pain.

Sociopath... Lelouch? What?
Date/Time: 2008-09-29 14:00 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] e-eleniel.livejournal.com
Well, I would swap my Anime collection if I had seen a glimpse of LL in the final scene, or hear his voice confirming what CC said with a even a simple "Ah.."

The talk on lulu becoming immortal revolves around two theories,

The name of the second season, R2... Since Lelouch's name Japanese pronounciation is something like RuRushu, and since the other Code holders have the names CC and VV, R2 is equated with RR, meaning, Lulu gained immortality by either of thse two scenarios:

One: When Lulu killed Charles, he obtained Charles' Code.

-One must kill a Code holder to get their Code for themselves.
-And since Charles grabbed Lulu's neck with the one that had the Code,
-And to obtain a Code, one's Geass have to spread to both eyes -as we saw before CC got her Code-
-One must die before their Code start working. (Though I can't prove this is an absolute condition.) We saw CC covered in blood and sitting on a pool of it. I believe that was her own blood, not the Nun's. And Charles was shot by LL after he took VV's Code, and LL is stabbed with a sword. -Common occurence?-

Yet, at the same time,

-Could one only obtain the Code from the person who gave them their Geass? Or, if any of the code holders is killed, the killer (if they have Geass) could obtain their Code, regardless of from whom they took their Geass? -This dampers the situation a bit.-

These requirements were achieved during that show down between Lulu and his parents...

Two: -which is less plausable- CC gave her own Code to Lulu... When Kallen asks that if she loves Lulu, she clearly says that she wants to put an end to the "accumulation that is called experiences". Could we take it as a death-wish, as a clue that she detests he immortality, or as a wish to end all the happenings since she gave LL Geass? I wonder, her confession that she "still has those feelings, after all" is another indication that she has some feelings for LL? Winning for the sake of whom? Losing with the cost of what? Yet, again I wonder if those feelings were enough to make CC pass her immortality to LL, to save him, even though it also meant turning him into what she tried to escape from...

Had we seen a wind blowing away her bangs long enough for us to catch a sight of her forehead devoid of her Code sigil, I would be happily accepting this theory -who am I kidding, I would party all night-...

The first theory is more plausable... There was some talk about the scene where Lulu placed his hand over Zero's mask, as if holding onto Suzu... Some ppl say that he was showing his Code mark to Suzaku.

That right hand was the one in which Charles' mark had been, too... If a Code obtainer gets their mark in the same place where the mark initially had been in its original holder, this could also be treated as a clue.

Yet, though we could see a part of his palm, Lelouch's hand was blood soaked. And where was VV's mark, again? Did I miss something? Was VV's mark in his hand, too? If not, I guess there is no pattern in the place of the mark.

Hmm, I am only summarising what ı have read in other message boards, so these are not completely my opinions.

But, again I say, how I would be happy to know that LL is somewhere out there alive...

Before anyone corrects me, I must add this...

"-One must kill a Code holder to get their Code for themselves."

So This sentence of mine proves that CC had to die if she had given LL her Code. Buuuttt.... There is also a talk that one doesn't need to die to pass their Code.

VV was still alive when Charles took his Code, right?

Does this mean anything, other than proving me wrong? I don't know, but I wanted to add it...

VV was still alive when Charles took his Code, right?

Yes, but just barely.
Date/Time: 2008-09-29 14:30 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] melengro.livejournal.com
The most prevalent theory seems to be that Charles's code went to Lelouch when Charles grabbed his throat. Charles had, at the very least, V.V.'s code, and possibly C.C.'s as well, so it's unclear whether Lelouch is alive, whether C.C. is still immortal, and whether, if Lelouch is alive, he is immortal.

And up until now I'm still wondering how Suzaku made it out alive from the explosion of his Knightmare.

Probably it was Lelouch's geass.

Lelouch is immortal and gave Suzaku geass!?!?!

Anyways, I loved reading everyone's opinions. Makes me wish they'd make a movie or an OVA to really sum up what happened to Lelouch and C.C., but I don't see it happening at all.

-Could one only obtain the Code from the person who gave them their Geass?

Charles got his geass from V.V., but had the ability to take C.C.'s code (although C.C. hid her code in the end).

Hmmm... this is not a theory but a personal consideration!
If Lelouch isn't the driver, then why CC is riding with acomplete stranger? :O
And maybe when she was praying, she decided to pass her immortality to Lulu.

Clearly, Orange-kun and Sayoko adopted Anya (or Orange is having pedo time with her, your call-- she was MARRIANNE-SAMA'S vessel after all) and started an orange farm. There, Lelouch and C.C. would travel around selling the oranges, but being the Demon Emperor Lelouch - and more importantly, being "dead", Lelouch must never be fabulous again in order to keep his identity safe.

Alternatively, he died and/or inherited his mother's Geass and is now a ghost chilling with C.C. while she talks to herself.

Or he's just plain dead.

I doubt it's the intended ending, but given that the last two times Sunrise killed their main characters they left "outs" for them to still be alive, I wouldn't be entirely surprised if they put it there on purpose.

But if you read back to in posts, this is at least the third that says this, possibly more.
Date/Time: 2008-09-29 21:05 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] mikoto-chan13.livejournal.com
Personally, even if I cried my eyes out yesterday as I love Lelouch to pieces (he might well be my favourite character ever), I really hope he's dead, because in my opinion it makes for one of the most beautiful endings I've ever come across, and I think that if it was confirmed that he lived after all, it would lessen the depth of his sacrifice a lot.

Besides, I don't think that the "he took Charles's Code" theory quite fits, because 1. from what we've seen, it looked like you really have to take the Code of the one who had given it to you, not just a "random" one, 2. why would Lelouch continue to have Geass even after he got the Code?!

I quite like the theory that R2 points to LeLouch, but actually I would be quite mad at Sunrise if they decided to pull this twist.

hmmm, i'm thinking it's more she's crying and praying that whatever Lulu had planned would work... Maybe assuming he took Charles's code and C.C. didn't know if it'll work or not.

but i like your theory too.
Date/Time: 2011-09-25 14:40 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] queenlarissa.livejournal.com
I think Lelouch is dead. The writers made it clear that he was. He couldn't haven taken Charles' code, because they didn't have a contract, and if he took C.C's wouldn't she be dead? Can't we let the dead rest?
