Oh, there might be some spoilers lurking here. Just a warning.

That said, I think we need a break from "OMG SO SAD!" topics or "I'M GOING TO MISS GEASS!" Or the eternal "Is Lelouch dead or alive?" debate (Which I will probably never make my mind up on >.>) So, this is a topic about remembering the good moments of Geass.

So, here's some discussion questions, if you will: (You don't have to answer all of them. Just pick some, or come up with your own discussion, whatever.)

1. Saw it on someone's siggy in a CLAMP forum in '07. Thought since it was drawn by CLAMP, it was worth a shot.
2. All of Season 1 was out at the time.
3. LULU'S EPIC EPISODE 1 GRIN, OMG.
4. Tie between Lulu and Suzaku. And Rolo for R2.
5. Stage 25, Turn 21. Of all time...Turn 21, probably.
6. Everyone's grey area morality. And OH FUCK YES did they continue it this season.
7. Allright with it. I cried BUCKETS when Lulu died, but whether he is actually dead or lives, I will be content.

1. What got you into Geass?
Umm...that crack video of Code Geass and McDonalds xD But I was eventually gonna watch it anyway.

2. At the time you got into it, how many episodes were already out?
I had 3 more episodes of season 2 left to download and watch, so I was a latecomer.

3. What part got you hooked?
Finding out the voice actor of Cloud Strife does Suzaku was enough for me. And that Lelouch's one is done by Kazuki of Buso Renkin.

4. Who was your favorite character in S1? R2?
Lelouch and Suzaku all the way.

5. What was your favorite episode of S1? Of R2? Of ALL TIME?
I don't know.

6. What did you first love about the series, and did that aspect continue in R2?
Voice actors and characters. I'm not too big on mecha anime.

7. Are you happy with the ending?
After reading the theories about Lelouch's death I feel a bit better about it. It was a beautiful ending though.

I don't know :/

I'd like to but I have other anime to start watching too. D:

It will always have a place in my heart especially because of the ending.

- Actually, my friend had me watch the first episode shortly after it had just started being released on fansubs, but I didn't watch anymore after that until the following summer and then I was hooked.

2. At the time you got into it, how many episodes were already out?

- I don't even know. I just couldn't stop. LOL

- Suzaku. And then still Suzaku. ILU SUZU ♥

S1-- the episode where Lelouch is chasing Arthur around the school trying to get back his Zero helmet. XD
S2-- Episode 21 FTW! *predictable*

- I loved all the drama + crack, though the drama got increasingly more... heavy by the time R2 was over (though, y'know, it was still ridiculously cracky, which was cool).

7. Are you happy with the ending?
- Honestly I'm not sure anymore. I want to think I don't hate it like I thought (when I REAAAALLY think about it, it was the nicest and probably most realistic way to end things), though I'm still irked about a couple of things.

8. Zerozaku = FTW?
- No thank you. As awesome as he was at dodging bullets and whatnot, no.

9.Going to marathon all episodes soon?
- I don't think my heart could take it! lol

10. Will you continue to love this series forever and ever?
- Probably. After all the money I spent on merchandise, I damn well better. XD

11. Code Geass = BEST ANIME OF ALL TIME?
- Certainly not of all time, but it was wonderful for what it was.

1. CLAMP. 'nough said.
2. I was waiting for the first episode with the rest of the CLAMP fangirls!
3. I enjoyed the moral wrangling from the first episodes and liked how they balanced it with the relationships between all the characters-especially all the friends who were on opposite sides. So, from the start, really. But Lulu's insane grin helped.
4. S1: Lelouch. Then Suzaku. Then C.C. But Cornelia sneaked in and surprised me near the end, when we got to see the other, softer side of her. S2: Lelouch, Suzaku, Xingke, Cornelia, C.C.
5. S1: Episode 6 for the crazy! S2: Episode 21 for the WTFOMGALLHAILLELOUCH!!! All Time: The finale (Turn 25). It wrapped up the show really well.
6. The moral ambiguity. I hate it when things are broken down into the 'good side' and 'bad side'. And very much so!
7. Yes. A good ending does not have to be happy.
8. Zerozaku is brilliant, but a very sad life for Suzaku to lead. He's killed someone very important to him and has to live as a shadow for the rest of his life. So I'm sure HE doesn't think he's full of win.
9. Not with my working hours. Maybe when I'm on holiday next or over Christmas.
10. I don't see why not.
11. I wouldn't say it was the best, or my favourite. But it is certainly one I will watch again and recommend to a friend! And it's pretty high up my list for an anime only show (rather than an anime based on a manga, which is usually why I watch an anime).

3. Can't really remember, but probably around episode 4. It was really good from the beginning.

1. I was browsing a forum and saw pictures of some of the characters and did some research and found out that the characters were designed by CLAMP. So I gave the series a try.

2. About 15 or 16.

3. In Turn 1, when Lelouch got his geass and ordered the soldiers to kill themselves and then he made this evil smile and it ended. I wanted to see more.

4. S1: Suzaku but also Euphemia and Lelouch
R2: (I have several) Lelouch, Kallen, Gino, Anya, Xingke

5. S1: I liked all of them especially the last two episodes.
R2: The first few episodes up to 13 and then episodes 24 and 25.
All time: Can't decide.

6. The plot, characters, and slight romance, but that aspect did not really continue in R2.

7. Yeah. I'm so happy it was not a reset ending or something like that.

8. Nope.

9. No, I'll probably wait till all the DVDs come out in the US and then watch season 1 and 2.

11. Not really, but it is one of my favorites.

1. I forget really, but a friend told me and my roommate about it I think? I'm a big mecha fan, so the mobile suits intrigued me.
2. There were only 2 episodes out at the time I think. Or maybe only 1. I just know I watched it when it first started to air and no one else knew what Code Geass was XD
3. The first episode. It was amazing and right away I knew this was a series I would enjoy.
4. Lelouch and C.C. for both seasons.
5. I liked all of the episodes, I don't know if there is one I like more or less.
6. It is a smart show. I loved the tactics, I loved the planning. It carried over throughout the whole series. I liked that it made you think.
7. I'm pretty happy with it, yeah. I like that it is "open" so I am happy with what I believe is happening.
8. I really find it to be an interesting concept.

1. Friends in real life made me watch the first three or four episodes (subbed) with them. Then I made them tell me more about the plot and spoilers and stuff...
2. Up to and including episode 20 of R2. Yeah, I'm a newbie.
3. I was pretty much hooked once I learned about the whole angst/betrayal/friendship between Suzaku and Lelouch *yaoi-angst fan* (I made my friends tell me everything that happened. I love spoilers).
4. The Zero Requiem Trio! (CC and Lelouch and Suzaku). I like all the characters, though, with the possible exception of Luciano.
5. S1: Stage 19 (d'aww Euphie and Lulu). R2: All of them? heh. Turn 19. All time: Turn 25.
6. The angst and betrayal and friendship and funny and... everything. Yes.
7. Yes... and I have decided that I'll still approve and like it even if Lelouch isn't actually dead and is actually immortal or something.
8. FTW. Definitely.
9. HELLS YES. It's funny that one of the friends who introduced me to it actually hasn't seen all the episodes... so we're all gonna get together and rewatch the whole thing sometime soon. ^^
10. Yeah. Probably. XD
11. Eeeeh... I dunno. It had a lot of weird inconsistencies and there were a few things that I disapproved of (the biggest being that we never got our Kaminejima-coma-Suzaku thing answered). But I think it's pretty awesome, nevertheless.

1. Lelouch himself. I watched the show for him and immediately got thrown into an interesting world I couldn't get out of. I came for Lelouch, stayed for the story/characters/music/plot/plot twists/designs
2. The first 23 had finished already, so people were waiting for 24-25. It was March 07' when I started.
3. The very last scene in episode 1 kept me staying.
4. Lelouch, Rolo and V.V.
5. There are so many, it's very hard to decide akjgjkajk. I had a full listing on my journal but I'm too lazy to copy. R2 would be ep 14 or 19 though, I believe.
6. agjajk Same things I've already said. The plot itself and the designs and just a lot of other factors. R2 had some REALLY QUALITY animation, so I can't say quality value stuck over to R2... as well as.... the general plot S1 gave off. but other than that......
7. Somewhat. really sad yet. I've made my interpretations on the symbolism/etc, so I'm satisfied only with what I want, but I wish for a complete answer to my theory.
8. It's just the same old speeding bullet with a mask.
9. Already started on it.
10. Until the end of time.
11. CLOSE. It's hard to say for me. but ALL HAIL LELOUCH.

1. Well once upon a time I walked into Borders and saw this OMGSOHOTAWESOMEAWESOMEAWESOME face on a magazine, and I was like "OSHI--GOTTA WATCH THAT, WHATEVER IT IS!!" so I look it up and I find out it's by Sunrise and CLAMP and I'm like "OMG no wai" so I watch all of Season 1 in 2 days :D
2. All of Season 1. I'm sad I didn't get hooked on it earlier :(

6. I loved the angst (LOL) and Lelouch. (No, not just his looks, I'm not that dense -_-) I really liked his character and thought he was awesome. And yes that continued in R2. Especially in the end, when we finally understood his character fully. ......WAAAAH LELOUCH! TT_TT
7. Are you happy with the ending? YES. Although Lelouch died. :( But the ending was...epic. Awesome. Amazing. FABULOUS. I can't even describe it.

1. Hearing that it was going to be on [adult swim], actually. I wanted to watch it before it got infested by the, er, same crowd that kinda ruined Daeth Note over here.
2. All of them. Best part? I got into it the Sunday the first episode of R2 came out, so at 5 episodes per day after school, I wrapped up my marathon with watching the first two episodes of R2 fresh off the grill, which explained a ton after the cliffhanger of R1.
3. I don't even know. Can we say the whole part?
4. Lelouch for both of these.
5. S1- 1, 6, all the Mao episodes, and 22-25. R2- 12 tops all. (and of course, the last two episodes go on the list)
6. Lelouch's whole 'heartless with a heart' kinda thing he has going on (take that, Yagami!), the character designs,
7. Incredibly. I don't see why everyone hates it, it couldn't've ended any other way. I'm a bit irked that Lelouch's death is so open ended (and if we know if C.C.'s immortal or not now), but that was just an amazing bang to go out with.

I'll answer this even though I'm watching it dubbed (even though I follow the spoilers =X ). But yeah, I laughed when I read your cut text, because I was like, "HAHA. IT'S ALL HAPPY AND STUFF NOW. I LAUGH IN YOUR GENERAL DIRECTION XD " >.>

1. What got you into Geass? - 3 things: My adorable friend liked it, I saw an ad in Anime Insider, and it was airing on Adult Swim
2. At the time you got into it, how many episodes were already out? - >3> idk.
3. What part got you hooked? - Technically, I got hooked when I went to AnimeNEXT and was like, "Oh. Code Geass. Maybe I should pay attention to it from now on?"
4. Who was your favorite character in S1? R2? I'm only on S1 since I have no time to watch it online due to SCHOOL D: but I've gotta say, I'm loving Lelouch <3 And I kinda like Euphie. And I also like Kallen. Not to say I don't like Suzaku.
5. What was your favorite episode of S1? Of R2? Of ALL TIME? - WHEN KALLEN IS NAKED IN THE SHOWER BECAUSE I ACCIDENTALLY SHOWED MY 8-YEAR-OLD COUSIN PICTURES OF IT IN MY ART BOOK XD Good times...
6. What did you first love about the series, and did that aspect continue in R2? - Um. Sexy men? And...yes?
