Oh, there might be some spoilers lurking here. Just a warning.

That said, I think we need a break from "OMG SO SAD!" topics or "I'M GOING TO MISS GEASS!" Or the eternal "Is Lelouch dead or alive?" debate (Which I will probably never make my mind up on >.>) So, this is a topic about remembering the good moments of Geass.

So, here's some discussion questions, if you will: (You don't have to answer all of them. Just pick some, or come up with your own discussion, whatever.)

1. Saw it on someone's siggy in a CLAMP forum in '07. Thought since it was drawn by CLAMP, it was worth a shot.
2. All of Season 1 was out at the time.
3. LULU'S EPIC EPISODE 1 GRIN, OMG.
4. Tie between Lulu and Suzaku. And Rolo for R2.
5. Stage 25, Turn 21. Of all time...Turn 21, probably.
6. Everyone's grey area morality. And OH FUCK YES did they continue it this season.
7. Allright with it. I cried BUCKETS when Lulu died, but whether he is actually dead or lives, I will be content.
11. GEASS, FUCK YEAH.

1. I heard it had CLAMP designs and decided to take a look.
2. Two or three. Nobody watched it then XD.
3. I'm not sure... I always liked the whole thing. Specially when Lulu failed at something.
4. Lulu all the way. But I love a lot of characters. Euphie, Rollo, Kallen, CC. Even Suzaku.
5. The one with Arthur taking away the Zero mask. I still laugh when I watch it.

1. It was one of those "Okay, let's see what all the hype is about" situations.

3. Hard to say. I think I just found Lelouch's mind games to be a huge turn on.
4. I liked Lelouch in S1. But Rolo stole the show in S2, and by the end, I loved him, Jerimiah, and...SUZAKU? WTF
5. I didn't have any favorites, I don't think.
6. Lelouch's intelligence, and he was my favorite character in S1, but less so in S2,
7. I'm okay with it. I think they're leaving it open for another season if they so desire. With what a cash cow Geass is, I wouldn't be surprised.
8. No. ZeroSpinzaku FTW.
10. As long as there is crack to be had, yes, I will love Geass for all eternity.
11. As much as I love Geass, Shaman King pwns it. Geass would have won if Paku Romi had voiced VV like I wanted.

So many things got me hooked to it, ha ha. I blame mostly the cliff hangers at the end of most of the episodes.

I really liked the ones that involved festivals at school and the authur episode.

Character development, and crack

1. I have no idea, it was so long ago. I think I saw it in a Newtype, or someone mentioned in a blog about a new CLAMP series and I was like 'okay' and checked it out.
2. None? I watched it from the beginning ... oh the joys of finding subbers, I think I finally found one by around episode 5? I didn't totally understand the beginning for a while.
3. The violence, I'm a horrible person really. From the first "Yes, your Highness *shoots self*" I was in love.
4. Throughout the whole thing, it was always either Lelouch or C.C.

6. How cynical it was, and just the plot and how it drew you in - seriously, I never got homework done while watching it and hours before and after. And yes, it did continue in. I loved the wtf-ness and the epic. AND LELOUCH.

1. I saw it around the interwebs. And a friend of mine kept making 'gay-ass' jokes.
2. I only got in at about the China Arc.
3. The China Arc. Where I came in.

5. The Mao Arc was pretty awesome. So were R1 8, R1 12, R1 18, R1 21 (LOL FOREVER), R2 4, R2 16, R2 21, and R2 25 for teh angst.
6. The interplay between the political and personal interactions of the characters. YOU BET YOUR SWEET BIPPY IT CONTINUED.
7. Yes. Both ambiguous and beautiful--what more can you want? I gave 'Re;' an A- if only because I personally would've ended it differently.

10. I tend to accumulate things that I love relatively quickly and something will probably kinda eclipse Geass soon, but it'll always hold a special place in my heart, yes.
11. No, that title still goes to Eva, with Cowboy Bebop and Noir as a close second and third? Most ENTERTAINING anime ever? FUCK YEAH.

1. It was a mecha anime + CLAMP did the designs so I thought I'd check it out.
2. I think I first started watching it just after S1 finished. The first few episodes didn't grab my attention, but I gave it another go just after R2 started and I got hooked.
3. When Arthur stole Zero's mask. That was the exact point I decided I liked the series. 8D
4. Orenji~. I'm also rather fond of Lloyd, Cecile, Sayako, CLOVIS, Schneizel, Kannon, CC… I warmed up to quite a few of the characters by the end, actually.
5. Oh man, I don't know. Taking the easy way out and saying any episode with Jeremiah in it. :D
6. I love how I feel so confused whenever I'm asked what I like about Code Geass. I love the series but I can't say why T_T

1. I came for the CLAMP character designs, primarily, but also for the interesting premise.
2. Uh... none? I actually joined the comm before the series started when it was but a wee thing~~.
3. Zero swooping in and saving Suzaku was so fab dsjfdksfjslkad. That's about where Geass hooked me.
4. Everyone in the show ever Lelouch and Milly in season 1, aaand the same plus Rolo in R2. AND NANI MAI HANI.
5. EPIC CAT CHASE EPISODE.
6. I loved the characters, the betrayals, the slash. And even though the story of Geass went kinda wacky in R2, the characters still kept me watching.
7. Yes, actually. Sure my favorite character died, but the overall ending for everyone, and even how Lelouch died all just seemed really right for the show.
8. Fuck yes.
9. ...No? Maybe when I get the DVDs.
10. If not the series, then at least the fandom. You crazies.

1. I was journal hopping and I kept seeing people referencing this Death Gundam CLAMP show. Then I decided to check it out.
2. Oh god, I missed the hiatus. It was only a handful of months away from the airing of R2.
3. End of the first episode when Lelouch had that batshit grin.
4. S1: Lelouch; R2: Tie between Rolo and Lelouch.
5. S1: The first handful of episodes. I like the bits where Lelouch was gaining some footing as a tactician and ultimately Zero.
R2: Episode 21, ALL HAIL LELOUCH.
ALL TIME: The finale. Seriously, I keep rewatching Lelouch's death. ;_;
6. I loved the fact that Lelouch was essentially both a hero and the villain. It definitely continued onto R2.
7. I'm pretty happy with it actually. I'm personally more concerned about the tiny amount of people who are aware of Lelouch's final intentions.
8. FTW.
9. Can't. College doesn't leave much time for that. Plus I left most of my R2 episodes at home. :(
10. I have fandom ADHD, but I'll remember it forever in my heart.

1) Amused by the name. (Heehee, "gay ass". Shut up, I'm five.)
2) The entire first season.
3) Don't really know. Somewhere amidst the explosions and FABULOUS and Lelouch losing to small shrubberies, I fell in love with the characters. Actually, it was probably the childhood scenes and Suzaku meeting Nunnally again that did it.
4) S1: the boys. R2: Lelouch, sorta by default, lol.
5) S1: Stage 23. R2: Turn 5. There are some other pretty epic episodes later on, but they're generally marred by some other extenuating factors. (Lol pacing, lol characterization.)
6) Despite the story being one of war and a clash of ideologies on the surface, its scope always, always returned back to the level of the individual characters and their relationships with each other. I loved that S1 was Lelouch vs. himself vs. Suzaku vs. himself. It was a very small, very personal conflict largely driven by subjective experience. This very small conflict, through a (not-so-) fortuitous series of events, simply played itself out in a grand way. tl;dr: The small scope of the story. R2...could have done a better job of continuing this...
7) Pretty much, yeah. It has more holes than swiss cheese, but that's what side materials and fandom are for. =P
8) Yes. FANARTS WHERE?
9) Soonish. S1 (before everything starts turning to shit) might make me bawww, though.
10) Yes, in all likelihood, haha.
11) I'm gonna have to be an elitist and say "no" to this. It is a damned entertaining and engrossing series, though, and some parts were done excellently (some of the time).

1. I saw it in the magazine first but immediately forgot about it. Then dunno how I bumped into Biglobe, watched it and attracted by the artstyle.
2. Like I say, I started it by bumped into Biglobe which by that time the show already started. It's epi 10. Then I finished all the episodes before and continue.

1. My friend had a list of anime she was watching on her LJ, and I had needed something to watch. Geass was the first thing that struck my interest from her list.
2. 23...I remember waiting a whole month until the S1 TV Special came out.
3. That evil grin and "dakara" Lelouch says at the very end of Stage 1.
4. Lelouch, hands down. I love way too many characters to count, but he definitely takes the cake.
5. This one is hard. I'm not sure. I really like the Ashford episodes, however--there's never enough happy to fill this show with.
6. The characters and the moral ambiguity...although I'd say that character development became somewhat inconsistent in R2.
7. I'd say I was satisfied with the ending, overall.

9. Uh...at the latest, Winter Break. School is so brutal.

3. At first it's probably the CLAMP designs, but the ridiculousness of Lelouch's gestures draw me in too.

6. Stratagem. In R2 it still exists, not as focused as in S1 but understandable since they need to wrap up plots.
7. I'm more happy than not, though I don't know if it's just euphoria.
