(I put death in quotes due to the open-ended ending)

I rate it base on the music and the situation, actually.
Lulu and Shirley is 1st and 2nd because of the screams of their belove people at that time :( Rolo's death was accompined by good music to make it more touching. Euphie... well, her death is sad and she's not suppose to meet that end, but to me the scene was not emotional enough.

I agree with yours whole heartedly. the first two made me cry so much i felt like a dork crying over an anime and my mom was looking at me like i was crazy.
