Favorite scenes in Code Geass

Since post-series polls are all the rage nowadays...

I want to know what your favorite scene(s) in Code Geass are. It can be serious or lighthearted, plotfully relevant or flat-out silly, an action or a piece of text, whatever. Feel free to take from not just the two season but also the Sound Episodes, the Picture Dramas, and even the novels.


Personally, I think that Lelouch and Suzaku's phone conversation at the end of Stage 23 was the best piece of writing in the entire canon. Epic and menacing, it set the tone for the rest of the series. I also particularly enjoyed C.C.'s S1 ending narration (now made even more tragic), as well as Suzaku's Patriotic Outburst in that one SE. Are my Suzakufag stripes showing yet?

On a slightly different note, I thought Euphie and Lelouch's deaths were the best composed scenes, with all the visual and auditory elements artfully aligned for maximum gutpunch value.

As far as lighthearted scenes go, I have to give it up to Lelouch's awesomely girly gasp, tsundere!Luluko, and "cats and tomatoes don't come in a set!" Thanks for clearing that up for us, Lulu. =P

-ep 17, when lelou and suzaku are almost BFF again, but.. and then guilford starts calling lelou his princess XD
-here's my knight of zero, spinzaku! all hail lelouch!
-when kallen kisses lelou (eeeeee!)
-when cc comforts lelou after they find out nunnally was alive (my true OTP, seriously)
-oh yeah and when xingke barges into tianzi's wedding all macho...hahaha that was amazing "she remembers!"

Guilford calling Lelouch princess was one of the more awesome things in the series XD

I forgot Xingke's moment, too... darn, there's so many awesome moments in this show. XD
