Hi, so I'm a fan who was alerted to CG by my f-list spontaneously combusting over the ending. I was curious. So I watched the entire series (original AND R2) in 2 days. I don't even know. Eyes hurt like hell afterwards. Also Lelouche of course left me in a state of T_T afterwards which did not help me. Anyway, would you please explain to me this large subject:

What exactly is CC's relationship to Lelouche in regards to her knowing his parents? I really like CC&Lulu's relationship, so I'm curious to how that plot twist changes it. I mean, did CC stake out Lelouch because she knew his parents? Was she actually betraying him the whole time in a way because she knew about Charles' and Marrianne's plans and never told him? WTF. Because that throws a whole other dark wrench into their "partnership".

Enlighten me, you long time experienced fans. For this poor n00b who already spent 3 weekdays doing nothing but watching and looking for pictures of Code Geass and screwed over her homework/study time.

Welcome to the CG fandom! Goodness, that must have been some marathon @___@

According to a Season 1 Sound Episode, C.C. checked up on Lelouch and Suzaku in the first episode per request by Marianne; back when everyone thought that Marianne was as kind of a mother everyone said she was, we assumed it was because Marianne was worried about her children, though now we're not so sure. I don't think C.C. was ever staking out Lelouch; it seemed that all she wanted was a person to fulfill her wish, and it didn't matter who it was. It just happened to be Lelouch, since Marianne and Charles were using him to draw her out.

In a way, she was betraying him by not revealing his parents plans to him-she probably assumed them unimportant to Lelouch's goals, or perhaps didn't want to introduce them until the right moment. Then again, I'm not sure if it would have mattered much in the end, since Lelouch would have just done the same thing. The Lelouch and C.C. relationship is pretty dark and complicated, though I suppose that's one of its charms. I'm a fan of it too, so~

@_@ Wait, I thought they got sent to Japan after their mother died. Remember how Lelouch burst into the audience chamber and demanding why his father hadn't protected their mother?

Um, I'm not a prolonged fans too but...

the plan of Marianne's death had been foreseen by Charles and they sent the children to Japan to protect them. Of course there's enough time for Marianne to sent C.C. ... if I'm not mistaken. It's a twisted way of thinking and a twisted way of love too... *runs and hides*

D: Yes, twisted. But in the end, they basically abandoned Nunnally and Lelouch.

"Why didn't you stop Britannia attacking Japan?!"

;o; What twisted, twisted parents.

Marianne most likely contacted C.C. through the World of C after her death and asked her to occasionally check up on Lelouch and Nunnally.
