ylmik-wisty.livejournal.com in code_geassHi, so I'm a fan who was alerted to CG by my f-list spontaneously combusting over the ending. I was curious. So I watched the entire series (original AND R2) in 2 days. I don't even know. Eyes hurt like hell afterwards. Also Lelouche of course left me in a state of T_T afterwards which did not help me. Anyway, would you please explain to me this large subject:
What exactly is CC's relationship to Lelouche in regards to her knowing his parents? I really like CC&Lulu's relationship, so I'm curious to how that plot twist changes it. I mean, did CC stake out Lelouch because she knew his parents? Was she actually betraying him the whole time in a way because she knew about Charles' and Marrianne's plans and never told him? WTF. Because that throws a whole other dark wrench into their "partnership".
Enlighten me, you long time experienced fans. For this poor n00b who already spent 3 weekdays doing nothing but watching and looking for pictures of Code Geass and screwed over her homework/study time.

Heheh, I really don't know about CC. I've tried ordering it in my mind, and what I've arrived at is... she met Marianne, made the deal with her and Charles, and then disappeared for awhile... she found Mao during this time. They had happy times, until Marianne 'died' and realized she could speak to her from Anya's body... and called her back. Or maybe even never called her back, just telekinetically asked her to watch over Lelouch. Which CC did, until she got captured by Clovis's men... and then we all know what happened after that.
But in a way she was betraying Lelouch because... she did know his parents' plan all along. But she didn't care (or said she didn't) because all she wanted from him was for him to fulfill their contract.
She was actually kind of betraying Marianne and Charles AND Lelouch all at the same time because she helped Lelouch a lot... even though ultimately she was in on the Emperor's plans all along. She didn't really side with anyone, she just wanted someone to fulfill her wish.
I guess? I dunno.
I adore LuluCC. Their relationship is so... awesome.
