And I really don't understand why fanarts should be banned - ah but sunrise did print a few doujins officially right? (Like the yaoi doujin "on nom mom")

That "sunrise" on doujinshi is a name of printing company in Japan, not that "sunrise" the anime developer^^;

Pissed off which way? My understanding is that CLAMP does not like having its official artwork up on the web and being used by fans. They don't enforce it or make threats about it the way other studios might, but that is their stated preference.
