What do you prefer to see CG in? Or any anime? I prefer English because I hate having to divert my eyes away from the action just to read the subtitles so I can keep up with the plot. Even if the English dub can sound melodramatic or corney sometimes. I watched CG once in Jap and a second time in English and I do have to admit that Lelouch's English voice is way sexier ; ) I think his voice in the Jap version is strange because it makes him sound like a 30 year old man rather then an 18 year old. But that's just me. ^^

People who say "but I can't read subtitles fast enough!" need to improve their reading comprehension skills. =/ Seriously, it's not that hard. If you can't read well enough to catch the subtitles and still take in the action, watching anime should be the least of your worries.

Some I'm on a debate on. Like for example, Lelouch. Lelouch sounds more...i dunno..mysterious
and smexyin Japanese. But I do agree, his voice can be a lil' too deep. And the 18 year old criteria is better when it comes to English. So it's a 50/50. xDThe only thing I find that's a pet peeve, is the way they can pronounce names. Especially C.C.'s name. xD In japanese they say "Shi-tsu". And in English they say "C-2" *cringes*
well there's my 2 cents. xD

I love Johnny Young Bousch or whatever his name is, Michelle Ruff, Yuri what's-his-face, OH LOL NVM CRISPIN Freeman all of 'em, but GOD, Jun and Takahiro have voices to DIE for and well, it's just...nice. Oh, and Yukana too. fjsajfkjekjklsjfsaf singers doing voice acting <3
I don't mind watching other series in English, in fact, I prefer Evangelion and Bleach that way, but for Code Geass...I just prefer subs.
But Spike Spencer is fucking awesome.

Also, the argument that todays dubs are better by default compared to late 80s/early 90s dubbing needs to die. Thanks to Funi, a lot new dubs are getting just as inaccurate (they take liberties everywhere, and you have craptastic opuses of "We don't give a damn about artistic integrity" in the likes of the works of Stephen Foster and stuff like the overly localized Shin-chan), we still have bad casting, and plenty of current actors phone in performances. Some of the liveliest dubs out there were from the early 90s (though there is plenty of crap like the Eva and Nadesico dubs, though ADV never could dub well in the beginning).
