Just randomly thinking... Shirley accuses Milly of being a perv, but most of her on panel scenes of yuri-ness seem focused on Shirley. Milly is also oblivious to Rivalz interest, nor does she take seriously her engagement to Lloyd.
YES, she tries very hard to set up Shirley and Lulu, but that could be a case of ;I want my beloved to be happy.' She may realize she can't get Shirley, so she decides to do what she can to make Shirley happy.
Thoughts?

Well, Kallen > Lelouch being official canon took about two seconds to find official basis for. I could keep looking but I doubt there's much controversy about Kallen loving Lelouch. Japanese interview (http://wakarimasenlol.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/img20080909000251rl8.jpg) with translation of pertinent bits from this K/L site. (http://wakarimasenlol.com/2008/10/26/kallen-and-lelouch-an-in-depth-look-to-their-relationship/1061)
Question: About the kiss in Turn 22.
Ami: I’m also surprised by that kiss. Before this, I interpret Kallen as having no romantic feelings toward Zero or Lelouch. So I was like, “no kidding?! I’ve mistaken?!”
But the director want me to show that Kallen is anxious from not knowing Lelouch’s feelings towards her, and is seeking an answer no matter what. An idea comes to head, “if I come this far, maybe Lelouch will say something.” Without too much thinking nor noticing her feelings, she acts. When she kisses and Lelouch doesn’t respond, it’s the first time she notices, “woa, I really like this guy.” That’s what the director said.
Question: So Kallen thinks she likes Lelouch.
Ami: Maybe she didn’t realize it before because she mixed this feeling with loyality. Although she notices it now, there’s nothing she can do under that situation. She can’t just insist to go with him. It isn’t Kallen’s character to do so.
Kallen is considerate to people around her. She will not allow her selfishness to get in the way. That’s the type that doesn’t get happiness, right? *laughs*
The same site mentions something from from “The Official Guide Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2″ (http://wakarimasenlol.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/825970.jpg): At the very moment Kallen witnesses Zero stabbing Lelouch, she understands what Lelouch hopes for her: “I want you to fulfill your dream, your little wish…”
A more general search for the pairing being canonical yielded nothing, although this is partially because I'm not entirely sure what to search for and what words to use. I also may have thought it was Taniguchi but it may also have been Okouchi, since he gave that interview where he officially proclaimed Lulu
deceased
but replacing Taniguchi's name with his didn't help.
It's also entirely possible that somebody extrapolated "Kallen/Lelouch is canon" from the above or something like it, then I heard from them that it was officially Word of God canon.
It appears the folks at TV tropes have heard the same things that I did (ironically in the ship sinking article (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ShipSinking)) but haven't coughed up links either:
Lelouch/Kallen: Sunk late in the second season after many Ship Teases and Moment Killers, when Kallen pours her heart out to Lelouch, attempting to confirm that his "evil bastard Emperor" attitude is merely an act, ending with a rather passionate kiss. He doesn't respond at all, standing there with a blank look on his face, which leads her to believe that he doesn't care. Judging by the fact that he sadly whispers words of goodbye as soon as she walks off, it's probably a case of "I'm too rotten, I don't deserve your love" as with Shirley.
* Revealed by Word Of God to have been a case of I Want My Beloved To Be Happy on Lelouch's part as his reason for pushing Kallen away was to ensure that she could accomplish her dreams when everything was over, whereas having her at his side for the final plan would have destroyed any chance of that.
* Hinted by more and more post series side materials that Lelouch may have loved her romantically.
* Links, please? *is curious*
hi :)
This sounds an awful lot like the usual Animesuki K/L arguments, which makes me doubt it to the fullest extent. A lot of this is really fan speculation. Which doesn't necessarily make it wrong, but doesn't make it anywhere near canon either.
Kallen -> Lelouch is official. Lelouch -> Kallen is "?"

I read this trope and everything they say was acknowledged by writers.
Kiss : Check
Lelouch keeping Kallen on the safe side so that she could live on : check.
And like the last line said, plenty of side stuff gave "hints". They didn't say it was "proven".
Tch, stop jumping on Asuki each time someone mentions Kallen/Lelouch. Bitterness does have it's limits :/

Don't play dumb with me dear, you know precisely what I meant. But thanks for basically proving me right. ♥

You bashing stuff because it's Kallen/Lelouch, and I ...not getting what you are trying to do.
Ah, So nostalgic :)

Iamma such a sunrise radar, my friends were right.

That said, when you're done getting all defensive and delusional, you might have a look up there and notice people demanding source on all this, so you can go ahead and copypasta your beloved ~*~hints~*~ and they can stop living in ignorance. Don't forget to add the infamous tl;dr necessary Kalulu-approved analysis that goes with it, or I get the tiniest feeling that people might not get it. :)
Have a nice day, looking forward to not reading your shit again <3

And for the kiss and the Lelouch wanted to protect her, it's all here.
And I guess you can count the zillions of others stuff as the hints.

Gosh, and I'm the one who didn't grow up.

No, not all the fanspeculations on this matter are anything more than that - speculations. And my waifu was probably thinking of those when she made that comment.
I have seen people trying to put Kallen up there with Nunnally, and in my humble opinion, that's taking it way too far.
I wouldn't even try that with Suzaku.I acknowledge that the kiss was supposed to be "mutual" (although the anime didn't do a very good job conveying that), but that Kallen goes "if you had said 'I love you'" in her poem, or even that he wanted her to be happy, does not convince me that Lelouch was any more in love with her than he was with Shirley.Doesn't one source (the guidebook?) even say something like, "in the end, she was unable to capture Lelouch's heart"? It doesn't have to mean he didn't love Kallen, but it certainly is no less of a "hint" than the poem. If this translation is an incorrect one, please tell me, as I don't speak Japanese myself and have to rely on what other people tell me.
And Keri only said she would be careful about the whole issue, not that anyone saying Kalulu might very well have existed in the show is being stupid and delusional, so let's not make this personal, yes?
(no subject)
brb, replying on the Milly issue...like I should have yesterday xDD;

You know I love you, too, most awesome wifey!
Oh yeah, the Milly issue...
Almost forgot about that. xD

People are free to get whatever they want from it, I could care less. I gave the link and I said that what your waifu said was wrong. She basically dismissed what was written on Tv tropes with her "ahaha asukiii blabla" while I gave the links from where I guess this people get it. Kiss and Lelouch cared blabla are there.
So who is making it personnal ?
(And since you asked it, the line you quote is in the compendium as well and it's " she was unable to understand his intentions". Not "lelouch's heart like Lelouch's love". But well whatever.
Guess it's always this fun crying over Kallen/Lelouch.
This lj post was about Shirley/Milly and yet...aah lol.
(no subject)
Let me quote you: "Bitterness does have it's limits :/"
That's pretty personal in my opinion.
Again, Keri didn't dismiss anything. She said to be careful, not that everything that was ever said in favour of Kalulu is mere speculation.
Guess it's always this fun crying over Kallen/Lelouch.
And personal again.
It wasn't Keri who brought up Kalulu, so please don't make it sound like that's the case.
Concerning the heart thing, I believe that's a matter of interpretation, except if it's completely clear in the context. Since I can't find the whole quote, I'm not sure that's the case.
(no subject)
And it was a note, not a personal agression. It's always the same people complaining over Kallen/Lelouch, Asuki and so on.
It's boring. Anyway I'm on holidays, not going to waste them trying to discuss when I saw the result on Asuki, it's pretty useless. Have fun.

And... "complaining over Kallen/Lelouch"? Interesting way of putting it. Oh well.
Since you don't care about my beliefs, and I don't care about yours as long as you are being rude and can not back up "sense" with actual facts, I agree it'd be best to end this here.
Enjoy your holidays.

So yep, that would be useless and boring. Anyway thanks, I sure will.
