Do you think that Lelouch loved someone romantically in the end?There have been hints with C.C., Shirley and Kallen.Personally i think that the staff was going with C.C. and Lelouch in the first season and in the second they took the route for Lelouch and Kallen.Shirley was in school and it was hard in the first place.
What is your opinion?

Euphemia: Lelouch's first childhood love.
Shirley: Someone who loves Lelouch unconditionally. Had he have chosen a normal life, Lelouch would probably have married her.
Karen: The one who loves Zero.
Nunnally: The beloved sister for whom Lelouch did everything for.

Personally, I think Lelouch ended up with C.C.
He didn't love her at first but she became the only one who knew the real him... apart from Suzaku later on^^
He also got to know the real her and instead of letting her let Charles kill her, he called her back and told him he would grant her her true wish (to be truly loved). He wouldn't have said that if he didn't truly love her.
Lelouch was never focused on romance during the story but I believe they do love each other.
The romance would start once everything ended. In the end I believe they disappeared together, protecting the Code until the time would come when it would be needed again.

Well, officially, Lelouch and CC wasn't romantic (at least on Lelouch's side)
Now, it doesn't have to be official for you to enjoy it.
And Kallen loved all of him in the end. She made it clear :P

Technically, while the writer did joss Lelouch Lives, the producer said "meh it's up for interpretation." I could go on for an hour (and have) about why it would ruin the drama and emotional impact and meaning for Lelouch's character if the whole thing was just a faked stunt and he actually escaped alive, though, so I definitely side with the writer. Still, Lelouch Lives has made for some interesting fic and I suppose if somebody wants to hold out hope they can. Despite the writer's insistence, the technical aspects of the series did set up the possibility of Lelouch being alive.

Yeah, I agree completely -- I love "Lelouch lives" stuff, but it does spoil the effect of what he did, there.
