Geass.jp just updated with more news! They're quite frequent these days. The dear show must be getting popular in Japan (and it should be, unless the Japanese are insane).

Everyone here's probably acquainted with the Code Geass Net Radio : Diary of the Rebellion (every Friday), hosted by Millay and Sayoko's seiyuus. Well, we're getting a new programme. The new Net Radio will start on December 12 (month 12 day 12, actually funny) and will be called Code Geass : Hangyaku no Yamayama (Mountains/A Great Deal of the Rebellion) instead, airing every Tuesday. Why yamayama? It's all in the hosts.

The new hosts of the show, Number One : Sukiyama Noriaki, seiyuu-ing Rival. And as you might guess from the subtitle of the new show, Fukuyama Jun, seiyuu-ing Lelouch, is Host Number Two.

Let's see what they bring to the table. And I'm sort of hoping Fukuyama Jun does his own spin on that "Prince Who Eats in the Bathroom" record.

Promo pics aren't a bad thing! :D Of course, get like FMA and it CAN be a bad thing where fanpander takes over most of the show's coolness, but so far Geass' promo pics (except the ones in the Bishoujo magazines) are really quite moderate. And goodlooking. Yep. You can't really lose with the design.

The sad thing is, if I'm shipping one yaoi pairing in this series, that's the one I'd ship. XDDDDD SuzaLulu is...cute, and really quite entertaining, but if I have to pick...

Canon? Canon is totally Suzaku/Euphemia, dude XDDDD I have no idea who Lelouch ends up with in canon, he seems rather impaired sexual development-wise. Wouldn't blame him, for all the emotional trauma he's grown up with, but still.

As I've said before, I cheer for Suzaku/Nanaly. Brother-in-law action FTW. But it's likely something horrible happens to her. D: If the OP is any judge Lulu'd end up with CC, but I can't see how that's going to happen just yet...

And true, that. Do you know, the Britannias are going to have one heck of a WEIRD family reunion when/if this is over. XDDDDDDDD And there's this line in my head :

OMGosh! That's great news! I'm so glad they're changing the radio show. I had always thought FukuJun should be at least one of the ones hosting. Or I at least prefer that the hosts be both male. But, I'm biased like that.:p I only listened to the last episode of the net radio and although I liked the skits with the seiyuu in character, I wasn't really into listening to Millay and Sayoko's seiyuu as themselves. They were kinda annoying to me...well, esp. that one older sounding one. So, I'm really looking forward to Yamayama!^o^

Haha, in my opinion the Geass team wised up greatly with this move. ANYONE who's seen one episode of the show would want to get a radio show with Lelouch instead of the girl seiyuus. While that made sense as a pre-production decision (female seiyuus make a safer bet for fans in general, they're more popular. At least with the male fanbase)...it just isn't sound practice after we see the awesome that is Lulu On Crack. I'm hoping the new programme has more in-character skits, too, like what Bones did for FMA a while back. FukuJun is awesome, but Lelouch is better.

And I know, I was sort of annoyed with Millay and Sayoko's seiyuu antics, too. XD The post took many edits to sound as semi-neutral as it is. They're too...high pitched and excitable. The old one was really funny at times, but they really sound too similiar and hyper.

hehe, im sooooo happy they're hosting the show XD but i think they're gonna host a new show instead of changing the old one (so the old one should still be around... i dont see a reason for them to stop it... plus in the news i think they said please pay attention to 2 net radio shows..?)

Hmm? They said "Code Geass : Hangyaku no Nikki no tsutzuki", so I assumed it's a continuation, and that last part about the two shows refers to how the first show hasn't ended yet. But that could be it! After all, they're getting quite popular. :D I'll go make edits to make it...less certain.

Noriaki? XDDD Dude. That's a bit of an uncommon reading. This'll teach me to look up the specific instead of going with the basic. Thanks for the heads-up! As for the Prince in the Bathroom----it's the first part of Hangyaku no Nikki, which typically has two parts. Listen to it to find out. I just want FukuJun to do a sesson with his voice as IC Lelouch, it'll be a RIOT. XDD

ya i saw the tsutsuki part too... so im not very sure if yamayama is a continuation of nikki that would end then, or if the tsutsuki means it's the 2nd radio show that is introduced after the nikki radio show, which is the first... argh, sorry i know i sound confusing, i cant get the ideas clear in my own head either -.- just ignore me -.-;;;

yes, i noticed sugiyama-san's name... from the naruto radio show lol. takeuchi junko-san (naruto) even said his name is too long (sugiyama noriaki) to say everytime, so she asked the audience to make a nickname for him XD in the end junko-san just decided to call him non-tan XD i wonder if he's still shy as before >w< that'd be really interesting to listen to XDDD shy non-tan and funny junjun... XD

Oh? Sugiyama-san's a shy person? That would be interesting...especially since I'd be trying to coalesce his voice with Rival, who is like the FURTHER thing from shy. XDDDD

Yes, it's in every episode. Each episode is divided into two parts. "Detekoi! Oujisama. *heart*" which basically means "Come out, Your Highness!" involving the titular 'Prince Who Eats in the Shower'. (Which is actually rather misleading) The second part is basically about post-conquest life in Japan and, as far as I know, letters.

As for IC-Lelouch---IC stands for 'In Character'. Which is to say that I basically wanted FukuJun to go into Oujisama!Lelouch mode and voice out the Shower Food lines just for once. It'd be a riot. (and the imagery of Lulu in a shower)

yes, sugiyama is a shy... relatively conservative person? how do u say it... he's the type that seems to be always very serious and not good at joking around :3 but he's cute that way XD that's why i think in a way his voice suits sasuke (cant seem to take jokes), and most of all, ishida uryuu (very nerdy..?) from bleach XD!!! maybe u can say he's a typical "blood type A" person according to the japanese... o.0

haha, i wonder what they do in the detekoi section... eating in the shower eh XD and postwar japan... what an uninteresting topic -_- now dont get me started on war crimes...

in-character lelouch saying out-of-character lines!! XD im sure it'd be hilarious if he does that!! i think it's totally possible for junjun to do that, even if there's no specific corner in the show for him to do that!! XD but then, sugiyama-san's reactions towards these things might be "ahaha... ^^;;;" conservative!! and reduce junjun's playfulness!! D: junjun is not crazy enough by himself! he needs someone more crazy like... kishio-san to bring out his high-side... LOL sorry going into fangirl mode again >.> anyway maybe the show will just take on a more serious atmosphere which would suit the code geass mood... XD it'd be fun!!

So BASICALLY, Lelouch's seiyuu is a Rivalz type, while Rivalz' seiyuu is a Lelouch type!? XDDDD Haha, oh dude, this will be awesome to see actually. Maybe FukuJun would try to steer the radio show towards the crack, and Sugiyama-san would try to steer it back, creating hilarity in the process. Or maybe they'd read us the news. I just want to see it. XDDD

It's an interesting topic for ficcers. *rub hands* However, I think I'll prefer the liner notes for that. The seiyuus just giggle too much.

FukuJun would do that? XDDD If he does, oh dear, the comic possibilities of him going LelouchMode in the middle of a discussion! Serious atmosphere would be nice, too, but come on...Episode 6! You know you love it! XDDD Net radios are made for semi-IC crack. XDDD Who does Kishio-san voice, though? I'm terrible with seiyuu names...

(I also demand an episode where they guest star Suzaku's seiyuu and then act out a friendship triangle. I demand it.)

hahaha, i wouldnt say sugiyama-san is lelouch-like, cus sugiyama-san is more shy and... you know, easily-bullied by those who are bold-er than him XD but lelouch wouldnt be like that... i guess? XDDD

im not sure if junjun will steer the show towards the cracky path cus... even in the cluster edge radio show (http://www.bandaivisual.co.jp/dbeat/netradio/krasta.php) (that's the one kishio daisuke-san is in too), the other 3 hosts are semi-crazy (kishio IS crazy, shimono is half crazy, and yoshino-san either stays silent or goes totally wild.. XD), and junjun is like the most normal one among them (when he goes crazy with the others, it feels more like he's doing it cus the others are all high so he joins the party XD)
so if sugiyama-san, a very serious (ish) and shy person is co-hosting the show, i'd say junjun will throw in some appropriate jokes here and there, but wont go wild (what a pity!)

ahh how i wish people would be translating the shows!! (i think i've only found translations for naruto nippon so far, and it's not even complete... ;__; and a few bleach ones...)

oh as for kishio-san... dont think he's in geass ^^; but if u google him or wikipedia (is that a verb now? XD) him, you'll see plenty of info :3

...somehow I would be really satifsfied to just HEAR FukuJun's voice saying Hangyaku no Yamayama.XD;; I always like radio shows where the seiyuus say stuff in a half themselves and half character voice.XD;; I hope they have a corner where characters say lines that will never appear in the anime(sometimes IC, sometimes really stupid and absurd) like where they did in Rajipuri. But then Rajipuri had like...4 hosts each time. Rajipuri is absurd in general.XD;; I remember I laghed my ass off at the CD Daisakusens and Drama Time.(there was this part where Ryoma saw Tezuka promoting cooking utensils with Tezuka Zone in a mall...Tezuka ran away.XD)

I wondered why they didn't do a radio with Lulu in the first place, so I'm really glad to hear this. Sad thing is, 80% of the stuff they say in radios I can't understand(both due to the sound quality and my own uselessnes).DD:

"Detekoi! Oujisama"? It's less impressive than it sounds. As far as I can make out (I started on...episode 3 and only listened sporadically) it's not about the prince I'm sure you're thinking of. Although we can certainly try imagining. I think the 7th and current episode is actually the Prince Who Eats Grass or something like that. The giggling made it a little hard, my listening still sucks.

I know! I love those little corners where they say various impossible things and act out impossible scenes with their in-character voices. Didn't listen to Rajipuri, obviously, but I listened to FMA's radio show and Mai Hime (which was PURE CRACK COMEDY GOLD. Sunrise, I tell you, need to do something like that again. I'm sure they've got the writers for it) and I must say I am spoiled.

The 'normal' stuff they say as themselves I have trouble understanding...but if they say anything that is IC-ish, I can help translate? No guarantees, but at least I can get a line or two. (And yes, I wondered long and hard why they used Millay and Sayoko, and the only reasonable answer I got was that anime fans are generally quite crazed about their favourite female seiyuus and only mildly interested in the guys. Pity, because anyone who watched the first episode would want Lulu in there. It's like they weren't sure the show would be a hit)

I was hoping for a Schneziel who eats in the bathroom.XD;; I don't have much interest for radio shows with minor charas, so I think I'll just listen to that part specifically.

Those stuff are actually the essence of radio shows.XD;; Lulu needs to get pwned by crack more, seriously. If they know what to do, we might actually get a hinted Yuuko/Millay and Watanuki/Lulu scene or two.XD;; I used to listen to FMA's show too, until I gave up because I couldn't understand a thing. Romi and Rie's versions of Melissa was quite amusing, though.XD;; You should try out Rajipuri sometime, or just the CD Daisakusens. (http://xenium.livejournal.com/tag/cd+daisakusen) Priceless, I tell you. But only possible for an anime with hundreds of character songs.

Most of the time seiyuus just chat about really, really random stuff and I really don't know what to thing.DDD: I hope Geass' radio show has more show-related stuff than random daily observings, though sometimes those can also be quite interesting. (DDDD: But FukuJun is really famous, PLUS Lulu just downright owns. But I guess I can't complain now since they got the radio show I wanted.)

i've also listened to the FMA radio shows... at first i was just listening to the naruto ones (because the naruto nippon files i got have hagaren housoukyoku right after them), but after i watched the anime, and started paying some attention to the hagaren ones, they're acutally deadly hilarious XD especially every opening, how paku-san started the intro in a funny way and kugimiya-san has to follow the style... XDDDD and also when the guests come... i love okiayu-san the most (scar) because... because he's just HILARIOUS. i dont know XD

The problem with that is I don't watch TeniPuri, so I have no idea which character is which. D: I'll download a few when my connection regains its speed, though! I'm giving whatever it has right now to Geass 08. A noble pursuit, I'm sure you'll agree. FMA's radio show was somewhat bland early on; it's later that they threw in the more crackish semi-IC stuff.

Yeah. That's my problem with the Nikki show. I was hoping it'd have more scenes and IC stuff, consider what I'd seen with Sunrise. Hoping the Yamayama one is more relevant now that Geass has a solid fanbase. (I know. D: But he won't sell that well with the fanboys (though it's funny, I'm sure Euphemia's seiyuu is a famous one for girls...), which is the first safe bet producers aim for when they're not sure a show will sell, and I remember they weren't sure if Lulu would be liked by the masses at all. It's stupid. DD: But yes. They finally wised up and give us Lulu. Thanks the gods. Now I demand additional drama CD to make up for lost time)

speaking of Euphemia... i am not liking her so far -.- meh, just my bias. i dont know much about her seiyuu either (i've seen her name and all but i'm not familiar with girl seiyuus at all) personally i think nanaly's seiyuu nazuka kaori would be not bad, and i quite like shari (shirley??)'s seiyuu orikasa fumiko (she's rukia in bleach) too... wonder why they're not using them instead... too busy?

lol. it's ok. people will share the files when they're out (in dec). at least i will be recording/downloading the shows or people over at the seiyuu_fm comm will be recording and sharing them, so don't worry about having to dload from the site yourself. (of course, if you mean the nikki files, i don't have any^^;) if no one shares them then just request them and i'll post if i have them =)

ya that's what i was guessing... no guests. cus im kinda stalking fukuyama and (ok not really but i stalk his production company's blog) and that blog usually posts news on what their actors are doing (e.g. if he went on this radio show, they'll mention it) and i didn't see any... so i suspected at least junjun (lelouch) was never on the nikki show.

but yamayama is different. both sugiyama and fukuyama belong to production baobab so they are FOR SURE in the show lol (hosts, duh! XD) and i will be stalking every episode of it :3 and i'll be dying for any photos too *___*
