Overall, not as bad as it could have been, especially Lelouch's voice (his adult one... the kid one was pretty lulzy). I was kind of hoping Clovis might have a lisp, though >__>...

Trailer so overdramatic, but that's what I love about the American ones. It makes me think back to the days of the hardcore Gundam Wing trailers. I am hardly going to make a determination on voices based on one line each though.

JYB is a good VA, so it wasnt' the quality that I was questioning. I'm just concerned for the script. I hope there won't be any bad translations in it. Things that try to make it more "American." KnowwhatImean?

Waiting to judge on the voices though. FROM WHAT I HEARD Lelouch should be lower, Suzaku should be higher, but you know.

And while I have to admit that Yuuri and Haseo were done well... Suzaku sounds funny (from what I could hear through the DYNAMIC MUSIC!!1! *Armstrong pose*) ._.; As does Lelouch but I'm willing to give it a go

Chibi!Lelouch does not sound right. D8 dammit, I wanted to hear Lloyd talking.

C.C doesn't really fit in my opnion. Too high.
But it was not as bad as expected and I can live with it.
Lelouch sounded good, but I can't really say yet. With the other voices it's the same.
Well, overall I think they did not too bad a job.

YES. OH YESSSS. 8D I'm so relieved that the voices didn't suck as much as I thought they would. The narrator at the beginning could've been different, as well as Lelouch's voice as a kid, but other than those two, no complaints so far.

Dag, yo. My heart was pounding like mad until I heard Lelouch's voice, which made me scream "HOLY FUCK THANK GOD." Suzaku's voice isn't bad either. I'm so bloody relieved. 8D

Goosebumps started to spring up on my skin while I was anticipating the voices, I got all tense, but then the voices weren't too bad until I heard them say 'Geass' and then I twitched. Gee-as would have sounded better IMO.

I couldn't agree with you more. "Code GEE-OSS"?! How did they come up with a pronunciation like that? I've always pronounced it "Gyse" as in 'a supernatural occurence.' I found the rest of the VA's quite entertaining but the saying of the title made me want to beat the narrator with a nailbat. *wanders off muttering*

XD Well, when it comes to dubs..I tend to worry more about the female voices than the male.

Of course, I'll need to hear Lulu's maniacal laughter before I have any particular opinion. It's just not Code Geass without the proper insane Lelouch cackle.

their voices arent as bad as i thought it wud be...altho so far i rkn suzakus voice needs to be a tad higher...and lulus a bit lower

I am so confused. I've watched the whole thing twice and haven't seen C.C speak at all, where are people getting her voice? My take just based on the one liners in the trailer:

Little Lelouch: .... =/
Older Lelouch: Needs to be deeper but other than that it sounded damn good.
Suzaku: I didn't really have a problem with his voice, it sounds pretty okay to me.
Clovis: Nice XD

Narration of the trailer was definitely overly corny and some pronunciations were eh, but other than that it doesn't look half bad.

I cannot wait to hear Lloyd.

So..after having re-watched this trailer 4 times...
something..just...hit me.
not that i speak Japanese or anything...
but..
how did Lelouch " dakara " became " well then " ?
especially after his speech , "well then" feels funny. It's like he is saying , "well then , shall we go pick some flowers ?"

Because, "So?" Would look and sound really awkward with those mouth flaps. Don't see why it's a big deal, in that context it's pretty much the same thing. Just hearing that line alone is weird, yay, but when you hear it with the rest of the scene it'll make more sense.

I thought Lulu's voice was sexy but I hated everyone else... I can't explain my hate for Suza's voice.
