Marianne's murder

Does anyone have any ideas about who killed Marianne? And why? I think it might have been V.V., but what would be his motive for killing her? What would be anyone's motive for killing her? Why not kill one of the other wives? Why was she the one that was murdered? No one would gain anything. I mean, even if it was a mistake that she was killed and the true objective was to kill Lelouch and Nunally. Lelouch and Nunally had absolutely no shot at the throne, so there would be no point in taking them out. The only was she was important (as far as I know) was that Cornelia looked up to her and she was Lelouch's and Nunally's mother. But then again, she must have been important enough for Jeremiah to be assigned to protect her.

Any ideas?

Clow Reed pretty much nixxed himself off because he thought he was too powerful. Then when TRC comes out we find out he was preparing things for "that moment" (which we still don't know what it is). So yeah, pretty much XDD

After he was shot, Mao's soul and body parted ways and went to two different worlds

Not sure what C.C. did with his body after she shot him. We never heard from him again o_O;
