Alrighty, new info coming from Newtype March. The translation is credited to Celiss Galeva from GameFAQs. Among the new spoilers is something of great interest, namely Lelouch's future, personal Knightmare Frame - the Gawain
http://img118.imageshack.us/img118/2...pemarchdy3.jpg
The Gawain is on the lower left side...while on the upper right one, is Schneizel's flying fortress, the Avalon - the one we see in the new OP (from where Lancelot takes off with that Aile Pack-spinoff.
Information garnered from Newtype March include the following:
- The Gawain is a two-seater. Who's the copilot? C.C.? Kallen already has her own and Toudou will most likely get that new Guren (Sanshiki?) model.
- This Knightmare Frame can fly.
- It is stolen. ("This mech will not be handed to the likes of Zero", anyone?)
- It uses a powerful Hadron cannon.
All in all, the famous Gundamjack trend seem to have made its way through Code Geass now. Wheeee. Rejoice. Or despair.
And by the way, the Gawain might be what Pubes and Fake Okouchi mentioned about Schneizel having another superior 7th gen. mech in his private army. They were nevertheless right when they said it was an ugly mech for a protagonist - and it will get even more evil as Zero gets familiar with it, or so those two warned. Since they're both (more or less confirmed with the proven spoilers they've provided on 2chan) CG staff members, we can already take that statement as a given. From other things I've seen on GameFAQs, it seems that the Gawain will make its debut somewhere around ep18/19 - or at least, it will be stolen at that moment.
Other tidbit from Newtype March:
- 15th of Feb is confirmed to be a recap episode, Truth of the Mask (ep17.5).
UGH.
Future ep summaries:
"Stage 18: Kururugi Suzaku, I Command Thee
Suzaku enrolled in the Britannian military because he wanted to change from within the Britannian Empire's policy of sacrificing the weak in order to expand their territories.
"Protect the people to the fullest" -- Possessing this strong conviction and a kind heart, he receives the approval of the 3rd Britannian Imperial Princess Euphemia, and advances to the position of her Knight.
News of this is relayed to the citizens as well. At this, Diethard, who is in charge of the Black Knight's intelligences, advises Zero to assassinate Suzaku.
He claims that having Suzaku, a Japanese, publicly serving the Britannian Empire is detrimental to the Black Knights, the JLF, and the Anti-Britannia movement on the whole.
Listening to his words along with Zero, the members of the Black Knights..."
And:
"Stage 19: The Island of God
In the intense fight with Zero, Suzaku is somehow blown away to a deserted island, where he unexpectedly encounters Kallen as well. Without even getting a moment's chance to puzzle over the meeting of a classmate at an unexpected place, he is shocked by the fact that she is a member of the Order of the Black Knights.
Stage 20: The Kyuushuu Campaign
The Deputy Vice-Minister of the old Japanese Government, Zawazaki Koutarou (Not too sure about the reading of the kanjis in the name -- I'll double check later), occupies a portion of the Britannian-governed land "Kyuushuu" and proclaims it as his territory. In order to surpress his actions, the Britannian military storm the base Zawazaki is in, but..."
Enjoy.

Also, WOW, look at all the Arthurian symbolism. Avalon, Gawain, Lancelot...in fact, I would go as far to say C.C is probably the "Lady of the Lake"

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government! XDDD

heehee instead of suza-kallen, why not suzalulu T_T
And i heard some rumours that lulu and Euphie also are on the island????

(no subject)
He is dumped there, too, but this time he's stuck with Euphemia, while Kallen must put up with Suzaku. The previous spoilers (from Newtype) have already confirmed this a while ago.

Ah, well...as long as it's good. ^-^

Point 1: Lelouche is the weakest pilot (or aim to be) in robot anime...in that sense, I can see the necessity of a co-pilot. I agree with the probability that C.C. maybe the co-pilot because otherwise, the Lelouche-Zero identity will easily be exposed (the helmet can fall easily during battles and Lelouche wouldn't be so foolish to risk a person who doesn't know his identity to be in the cockpit).
Point 2: The climax is the battle between The Dark Knights and the Britannian Colonial Army that is probably led by Schneizel. I think by the end of the first series, Lelouche will confront Schneizel, beats him or even kills him, destroys/claims the Avalon and learns the identity of the REAL ENEMY he's gonna fight in the second series...
Point 3: Schneizel is a GOOD MAN ... which means he probably is not the person behind the terrorist plot against Lelouche's mother. This is supported by the scene in episode 16 where Cornelia seemed to be upset over the death of Lelouche and Nanali as well...However, Crovius did mention that Schneizel and Cornelia were involved. Could it be that Schneizel and Cornelia at the time were fighting the REAL TERRORISTS who were dwelling within Britannia? Could it be that Crovius mistaken Schneizel and Cornelia as the terrorists and thought they had something to do with the death of Lelouche's mom? Could it be that the real terrorists were related to C.C. and other girls we saw in the opening scenes who possessed the power of Geass and Lelouche's mom was somehow related to the plot (like she knew something) and so she had to be silenced by the terrorists? I mean she could be on the side of the terrorist herself with an intention to overthrow the Britannia empire in revenge of something that happened to her own clan and stuff...In that sense then, from the Britannia's POV, Schneizel is a GOOD man who's trying to defend his family and kingdom.
Point 4: Euphemia is a surprisingly strong enemy for Lelouche. This is a very crucial sentence because so far, Euphemia has no specific role aside from making way for Suzaku to become a more important figure in the Britannia army. However, if she's a surprisingly strong enemy...does this imply that she might potentially become a geass user as well? Or she IS already a geass user and has an agenda of her own and so pretends to be all nice and stuff? I mean she has to have special powers to prove herself a surprisingly strong enemy for Lelouche... and I can only think of 2 possibilities:
(a) she's an extremely brilliant tactician - even superior to Schneizel - but whose ability was never realized.
(b) she's a geass user or becomes one along the way..
Hmmm... and sorry for all the speculations ... I hope such discussions are permitted.
(no subject)
You don't have to have Geass to be strong. She doesn't need 'special powers' to propose effective opposition to Lelouch. He's really not as hot as he thinks he is.
I think there is a possiblity that Empress Marianne is not a sweet smiling lady at all. After all, we've only reeeally seen her through the rose tinted eyes of her children; she could have been a major bitch for all we know. She did marry the Emperor after all! XDDD

And the 2ch rumors say Euphie and Lulu are supposed to be stuck together as well. Or I should say Euphie and Zero cause she doesn't know it's Lulu. According to the spoilers Zero will come off as kind of lame and uncool to Euphie cause Lulu is all awkward and clumsy. ^^;;; Ahahaha...poor Lulu he really needs to workout.
But wtf is up with the Gundam Seed-esque stuff? Island plots and gundam-jacks....even a new big ship (Archangel, anyone?) What's next Freedom coming out of nowhere to save the Archan...I mean Avalon? Actually, it's all rather amusing to me more then annoying for some reason.

How many eps are there? 25? and how long was gundam seed?
(no subject)
As for Gundam SEED, it was 50 episodes...but for Code Geass, it's likely that it'll be 50, too, but divided into two halves made of 25 eps each and separated by two seasons. One MBS/Sunrise insider suggested that CG would run two seasons (25 eps), go off the air for two seasons (25 eps from another series will replace CG at that moment) then come back for the two final ones (25 eps). But there hasn't been any official announcement or confirmation of this yet.

So, in context here: Basically, it seems like Lulu kind of admires Suzaku right now, but he's getting to the point where he's going to have to betray him, etc. We'll have to see if we get a catalyst for any such betrayal. But in the end, they'll probably make up. Or who knows, the Japanese may not like the ending of the Le Morte d'Arthur and decide to make their own. ^__^
I just wonder if some kind of Gwynevere will show up soon. XD
(no subject)
do those 25 eps include the recap ones?
(no subject)
And recaps will be considered as 'extras' in the DVDs.
(no subject)
And on another note, with the numerous princes and princesses, the Emperor of Britannia gets around disturbingly too well.
(no subject)
I don't think the other princes and princesses will get screentime, though - unless they all perish in some sort of nuclear detonation or a terrorist attack takes them all out in one go. At any rate, the show will focus on Lelouch bringing down Cornelia and Schneizel, not to mention the background 1st Prince (a bearded guy just mentioned in passing and seen at Clovis' funeral) and Mr. Biwig himself.
Details about his family's exceptional size are purely superficial. The only thing we need to know is that there are sparks within it and that they're fighting each other for various reason - like purism, greed and desire for more power.

Thanks for the scan and info!

In the sequel, Kallen will almost marry Lloyd, only to be saved by Toudou in Strike Knightmare.
God, I come up with the most original ideas.
(no subject)
Oh, and Suzaku's Lancelot will launch in the tune of T.M Revolution.
*thumbs up*
(no subject)
IIRC, that line was from 18?*didn't really take much notice of that*
And what a special Frame it turned out to be. Spiky wings?XD;;; Looking forward to it. And two people as the pilot? Woah.
Heh...so Avalon was Schneziel's "Another Strong Weapon"...
and I thought it was Orange.And I'm amused to see that Lulu fell from the 8th Prince to the 11th Prince, and now the 17th Prince.XD;;
(no subject)
1°) he's one of the youngest - if not the youngest - princes of the family
2°) Marianne was a commoner by birth, meaning that he has low priority on succeeding. 'Purebloods' like Clovis and Schneizel, who are both older and have noble mothers, get first dibs on the throne and are higher up in the succession ladder.
